I am interested as someone getting a 4K TV this year and would buy at 499 if there are good games. But I have very little faith in the games other than having the better looking 3rd party games.

Generally streaming 4k is working out rather well. Obviously not comparable to an UHD BR, but Netflix and Youtube are running pretty good in 4k.
