PS4 Pro + 2018 OLED by God of War's release date
I now have my deadline

E3 was pretty weak this year but expected considering the bunch of games that have been released this year.
Marvel tho, unforgivable what Capcom did with the IP. So glad we're getting DBFz

By GQman2121 Go To PostReally? Forza, Sea of Thieves….I'm drawing a blank.Crackdown 3, Cuphead, Super Lucky's Tale and the hottest game of the moment, Player Unknown Battlegrounds.
Sony had like ten decent games of varying sizes in the hour long pre-show that are this year.
I don't think they've dated it yet. Maybe Gamescon in August we'll know more. David Cage is about to be on Keighley's couch though so we'll know a little bit more shortly.
Sony has DLC, GT Sport, Knack 2 and what else?
Edit: Forgot about NI No Kuni 2.
Also a pretty barebone E3 from japanese devs.
But they spoiled us this year and will continue to do so.
Hopefully TGS will have something on DMC 5, REmake 2 and fucking From Software.

By GQman2121 Go To PostSpidey gears young so you have to think they're going to make some sacrifices to appeal to a larger audience. I'd like to think that all of Manhattan that we saw in the background is going to be swing-able though. Game is still a year or more out too.Developer on GAF confirmed it's open-world and the webs attach to buildings :D
By LFMartins86 Go To PostCrackdown 3, Cuphead, Super Lucky's Tale and the hottest game of the moment, Player Unknown Battlegrounds.Ni No Kuni II, Crash, Everybody's Golf, Undertale, Matterfall and I'm assuming a few of the vr games like Super Hot. They didn't show or tweet or really talk about any smaller titles either so we'll see once the show starts tomorrow.

I want to try Sea of Thieves the most I think though.

God Of War footage was running on PS4 OG, not Pro.
Interesting.
Edit: Days Gone apparently was also OG PS4.

David Cage just confirmed that last year's Detroit scene will be playable on the floor so it will probably be like I said, you play at least 2 sides of the story.
Sony don't release their major exclusives in the fall anymore. Death trap for non popular games(See Titanfall 2).
Expected a poor E3, though hoped for teasers of TLOU and RDR2. Will probably just watch the SotC, monster hunter, Horizon, days gone, detroit, Spiderman and GoW stuff when I get home. Sounds okay listed like that, but none of it gets me hyped yet. Doesn't seem to be any need to watch any full conferences.
Getting a bit worried about sucker punch. First Light was years ago, and afaik there's been no hint of what they're doing

Hidden Agenda looks like a great idea but I don't know if I can get my friends to play it.
They also seem to have a new Singstar and a Trivia game as part of PlayLink thing where people use their phones as controllers.

Go to bed Ninjinha.
Games of the show so far for me:
Evil Within 2 - Loved the Silent Hill-like direction.
Wolfenstein II - Awesome narrative.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - I was so sure this would be incredibly lame.
Metro: Exodus - Next gen Metro yes plz.
Uncharted 4 The Lost Legacy - I was already sold on this from PSX.
Days Gone - I liked TLoU & Sons of Anarchy so I've been down with the premise since the first showing.
Cuphead - Yep, Max Fleischer Gunstar Heroes is still amazing.
Just Nintendo left tomorrow, but I don't know if they'll show much of anything new.

If that MS conference is bad, I don't even know what to call the Sony one. Absolutely shit.
Ni no kuni 2 though.
Ni no kuni 2 though.
Sony has Gamescom, TGS and PSX to get back my interest.
If they cant, then I'm team Xbo-
Yeah that wouldnt happen. FFXII is coming out in a few months anyway. So is Splatoon 2 and the Mario Rabbids thing.

Sea of Thieves looks alright but I'll never have anyone to play it with unless we do a PC group
Detroit: Become Human looks like a Ubi game, not in a good way. Meh.
God of War looks incredible.
Holy fuck at SOTC HD. I never played the original so I'll pick this up.
Spider Man looks legit af.

Uncharted Lost Legacy looks great graphically, not sure about the story.
Horizon DLC looks decent, not much to go off of.
Gran Turismo Sport looks incredible and hopefully the right direction for the franchise.
Days Gone looks decent but I am more interested in TLOU2 info. Anything new on that?

Watching some more Days Gone... is this TLOU2? I don't know why Sony made another zombie game that doesn't do anything different? It looks nice and all but where does it fit in within the portfolio? It feels so me-too.
If it's state of decay without the jank and with proper missions, I'll be happy enough
Biker motif is lame as fuck though, always has been

I mean it looks... I don't know what's a number larger than infinity? Whatever that number is better than State of Decay. If TLOU was never made I'd be screaming "holyyyy shit" for it but it's visually and tonaly almost identical to TLOU and I am wondering what the point is? I'm sure it'll be a fine game it just feels odd this got greenlit.
It'd seem much less strange imo if it wasn't first party
As you said, tonally it's so similar to TLoU that it doesn't seem right for them to be in the same portfolio
Hopefully the structure is different enough that the comparisons will be forgotten when it's actually played. Can't see it being regarded favorably if it's constantly viewed in comparison and can't stand on its own.

Or maybe Bend has met every deadline, goals Sony set that they just can't find a reason to cancel it :p
That's fine... but this must've been greenlit after TLOU, no? Like, what was in their pitch that differentiated it from the other first party zombie game made by Sony's best in-house studio that has seemingly identical gameplay, tone and vision? I'm just so confused why this ever got into development.
That has me thinking about Ready At Dawn
Given their big chance to be taken under Uncle Sony's wing after some good portable work, and they completely fucked it
Now look at them

I get the sneaky suspicion that they didn't know if TLOU2 was gonna happen or not and decided to greenlight Days Gone to fill the gap
This is Bend's first new major title since Syphon Filter in 2007, no? They've been doing hand-me-down offshoots since then, so for them to make a TLOU clone that seemingly has a ton of resources behind it is just so odd.
Open world, vehicles, missions, tech used for npc numbers, job done
Seriously though, if they fall into the trap of making the first part of the game linear, they're fucked. First priority has to be differentiating the game as much as possible

I think it's too strong and too early to call it a clone. Unless the new gameplay takes it closer to TLOU than it was at reveal
Interesting to note is that they are using Unreal 4 for the engine and not an in-house engine. If it's open world, why aren't they using the Horizon engine from another Sony first-party? I just can't wrap my head around this game's existence.

Open World & Zombies are pretty big in gaming so Sony's probably betting that it sells a ton. It's E3 2016 showing has almost 10 million views so it seems to be being received really well.
By Hitch Go To PostI think it's too strong and too early to call it a clone. Unless the new gameplay takes it closer to TLOU than it was at revealI didn't even realize it was open world from the trailer they showed today. What little of the gameplay I saw from the latest trail didn't look much new or different in the genre.
