By jjasper Go To Postwhat am I watching? I feel like this is some strange bad parody for the state of the industry.A beautiful parody of press conferences, specifically Ubisoft
By Moris Go To PostI bought Mafia 3 partially because of the Klan meeting mission, we doin' it!best gaming feeling ever
Going to sleep on it for a few months but seriously tempted to go in for the xbox x (would be my first ever microsoft console), I'm just starved of 4k content at the moment and would like to put my set up to some decent use.
Metro looked incredible but I'm wary of the fact it was running on a PC as nothing else came close to that fidelity trailer wise imo.
Also Sony are in a possible position this e3, they're NEVER going to top last year in terms of announcements so I think it would serve them best just to show how the million games they've announced have progressed and maybe give us one or two surprises (Sucker Punch I'm look at you).

I'm probably going to jump on a S if Panzer Orta gets that sweet, sweet BC.

Metro is more than a year away.
Need a UHD player? Why not buy an S right now? It's £200 starting today.
Could be nothing but Fnac Spain might have leaked Super Smash Bros Switch. They only have the title and a placeholder date but it could happen.

Battlefront 2 looks great ... and that's pretty much all that can be said about it. Hard pass, once again.
Nintendo Spotlight will be only 25 minutes but they will be showing a bunch of new games and the first hour of the Treehouse will be full with new announcements.
My short impressions:
Assasin's Creed Origins: After gaf leak, I was expecting a jump in quality on the level of Assasin's Creed 2, but this looked boring af. I don't like the hawk feature, too op.
Wolfenstein II: Day one
Anthem: Looks very ambitious I don't know if Bioware is capable of delivering
Dishonored Death of the Outsider: I'll buy anything with a Dishonored name
Crash Team Racing: Remake pls

Forza, the multiplats etc... like I said I need to sleep on it, I'm watching compressed youtube footage, at some point I'll go and compare pro to the x and make an informed decision.
Totally not a necessarily purchase by any stretch but I've been holding off getting a pro to see what this was like.
Forza has more mainline games than GT while being released for the first time 8 years after the first GT.
I can't wrap my head around that.

better devs and better games, mate.
Just spent the morning catching up on The Last Night and Notch controversies.
GamerGate and its associated movements continue to be the most vile and agonizingly stupid ever conceived.

By Francis Go To PostMust have been recorded on a sunny day with no clouds because that doesn't look good.
By Haramism Go To Postbetter devs and better games, mate.I don't know if it's better devs or MS just stretching them out as much as possible.
Forza 4 wasn't particularly good, neither was 5.
6 is pretty good, 3 was pretty good.
I'm not defending PD's crazy nonsense either.
By Francis Go To PostLooks like Crackdown, I'm still good. That cloud destruction seems gone, but idgaf, I don't play Crackdown for the destruction. I need those orbs.
By jjasper Go To Postso apparently this is a thing:If they update d-pad, sticks, and other buttons/things, I will probably grab it. One of the reasons I love the Steam controller is how large it is and the angle my wrists rest at while holding it. I seem to remember the Duke being good for that, as well.
*snip*
By jjasper Go To PostWhy the hell are they releasing Crackdown 3 on Nov 7? It's like they want it to fail.Same day the Xbox One X comes out.

It's so funny how scared some segment of gamers are of women.
His fictional melancholy dystopian future wasn't caused by food shortages, water scarcity, capitalism run a muck or environmental erosion but rather gender equality gon mad lol.
Consumers are going to have no idea what the difference is between all of the different Xbox models.

That legit looks like a hi-res AA PS3 game.
Honest question: if MS were a 3rd party publisher, where would they rank these days? Sub-Capcom?

I liked everything about the duke except the convex buttons.
By Francis Go To PostDroids can sprint now ?
Game looks ballin' though if not a little samey.
By Moris Go To PostIt's so funny how scared some segment of gamers are of women. It's not just gamers but everyone. We need women to survive as a species and people just treat them like shit, they're supposed to just be sandwich makers and pussy on demand, desire to be more and here come the complaints.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostSame day the Xbox One X comes out.But it looks like a 360 game so not a great "launch game" And coming out during the assassins creed, cod, battlefront time when no one is going to be buying it.
By KingGondo Go To PostAnd don't forget the scourge of universal basic income!Or the audacity of wanting pregnancy to occur outside their bodies so they can continue working and living their daily lives. Or how there can be more reliable birth control on the male side than condoms and less permanent than vasectomies.
By jjasper Go To PostBut it looks like a 360 game so not a great "launch game" And coming out during the assassins creed, cod, battlefront time when no one is going to be buying it.apparently the multiplayer is the real draw and that's confirmed to have 100% destructible environments.
Still, I wouldnt hold my breath on it looking good.
eh

First things first, E3 is not just the opening presentations.
You may or may not know but we're fully playable on the E3 show floor, plus we've got folk on the ground doing press presentations and more. We're certainly not hiding the game away! In fact we're eager to see peoples hands on comments.
It's hard to show everything you're doing in a short video, especially when it's in a presentation with another 51 games :)
It was our goal to do a proper Crackdown Campaign game and whilst we might not be dropping buildings, there is a hell of a lot of destruction in the game. I'm sure soon enough you'll see some of the new toys we've made let loose on the world, not least what happens when you destroy a street full of traffic.
If you can hold judgement till you get a better look at some actual gameplay, you might just be pleasantly surprised.
We've got an amazing team on the game - it's a real labour of love.
Right back to work, these games don't make themselves :)
Actions speak louder than words. Crackdown is one of the few truly exclusive first party games Microsoft had and it was relegated to just a short trailer when it's finally coming out after many years of waiting. That doesn't show confidence in the title from Microsoft's part.
