Hopefully in exchange we get a competent point guard or two, and a consistent swingman who can play the 2G/3F. That's all I really want.

Tyler is surprisingly good. He needs to be used more when the situation calls for defensive. I love how Amare's been playing, but he's not the guy you send out to back up Chandler. It should always be Tyler.

Knicks will do what they always do - get a pick in the 6-9 range, just enough to not really matter, but be overrated as ROOKIE STAR OF THE FUTURE just the same. Then they'll trade him, a draft pick and a giant expiring for Kyrie, who won't be good any more by that point. And the cycle will begin anew.

I can't get down with "fuck the knicks" anymore. This year has been heartbreaking for me. I have a couple of friends who earnestly believe that Bargnani was the first step to a great season and being the 2nd seed, maybe 3rd in the East. At first I laughed, and laughed, and laughed--then I realized they were completely serious. From that moment my soul ached knowing that there were people out there who actually thought things would be better for the Knicks this year. One of the biggest tragedies in the world right now.
