Lol if you think the Warriors dont beat the Cavs without KD.
All they did was win 73 games without him

nikka like we didn't need you, but thanks for getting out of our way
KD over in the corner crying as the game ending like he worked so hard for this
By RobNBanks Go To Posti guess KD was right then, this was the hardest road. playing with bums like curry, klay and draymond.Didn't say they weren't bums, but you look at who was hitting the tough shots and who was hot. I called KD beta for sure in the regular season and thought Warriors were better without him. After looking at him take over more and more this postseason he's changed my mind. Dude was the alpha for the Warriors when Klay was off and Curry drunk.
By s y Go To PostLol if you think the Warriors dont beat the Cavs without KD.Did they win last year? The question was they probably chip without him. Who replaces the scoring and has his gravity?

Bringing back championship winner Mike Brown to coach
If the Cavs want to compete with the Warriors they need to dump Korver, JR, and either Thompson or Shumpert. Shump being heralded as a defensive player is funny, dude is garbage on both ends.
Not sure what the Cavs do really. LeBron needs another Battier/Ray Allen type... 3 and D.
Klay for JR.

Awesome that the entire offseason discussion will now revolve around unrealistic acquisitions for the Spurs and Cavs that probably wouldn't even get them over the hump against GS.
The Golden State Warriors are even bigger favorites next year.
The Warriors, fresh off a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals, are listed as minus-200, odds-on favorites to win next year's NBA championship, a historic price on a preseason favorite.
"They're going to be the highest favorite we've ever had going into a season, any team in any sport," Jeff Sherman, NBA oddsmaker at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, told ESPN.

Oh come on. Surely Spurs getting CP3 & Hayward is realistic.
This would have never happened if OKC paid James Harden.
Imagine 2017 Harden, Westbrook and KD on the sane fucking team. Would destroy the Warriors.

Got a shot, their bench is really good with Simmons/Anderson/Murray/etc.

Likely would have not developed the same way if they kept trying to convince Harden to be off the bench.
Out of the group YNB was probably the one that held them both down the most, and vice versa.

Tell me Kawhi Leonard would be the same way he is now if he went to the Pacers.
Tell me Curry would be where he is now if he went to Minnesota.

yes because the players put in work themselves. Curry would be great wherever the fuck he played, same with Kawhi.

They put in the work, but Minnesota wouldn't have extended him. I admire everything Steph did to come back from 2 career threatening ankle injuries and reforming his shot to come from his core instead of his legs. But to be the same shooter he is now in Minny, when no one else believes he could come back? Kawhi would have taken longer to develop his shot in Indiana. Paul George would have stunted his playtime and development.
They'd be great, but I'm not sure they would hit their current ceiling now if it went a different way.
Not sure Kawhi would be this good if he didn't go to San Antonio tho.
He's probably a better Ron Artest without the crazy if he ended up somewhere else.

Well they also didn't give love the full extension right? Not saying I agree with shun but just playing devils advocate

Sorry shun I totally disagree. Steph was droppin triple doubles as a rookie and woulda won roty if not for tyreke Evans going left 20 times a game for 25 pts or some shit per game. Lol. Steph made this Warriors team. Without him we ain't shit and never were shit. He's why we won the 1st ring and he's why KD came here. Ws have a great organization but steph is why we have won 2 rings

That's not what I'm saying at all.
I'm saying that maybe some players won't reach their highest potential elsewhere. I already said now and many times before how much I respect the hard work and effort to completely retool his game. I thank him for everything he gave to this team and continues to do so after so many struggles throughout his career.
Steph is a superstar, he put in the work. But we've been spoiled with a guy who got even better with a system and group of guys he can trust on this team. Even Bob Myers said himself he took a risk on Steph. Steph circa 2009-2012 then coming back 2013 to now on a different team would still be amazing, I don't know if we'd still be talking about him the same way we do now.

By shun Go To PostYou don't remember all those trade rumors popping up for steph during those dark years?and? Not trading made him awesome or something?
If they traded we would have looked back on it as one of the dumber trades of the 2000s
