That sets the stage for a bombshell of a rumor that Dan Patrick dropped on "The Dan Patrick Show" this week.
Citing a source with "firsthand knowledge of the situation," Patrick said James proposed an ownership swap between the Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons before he returned to Cleveland in 2014 because he didn't want to play for Cavs owner Dan Gilbert.
That would've meant Gilbert would own the Pistons - along with the dozens of buildings and properties he already owns in downtown Detroit - and Tom Gores would own the Cavs.
Furthermore, Patrick said, as part of the deal, James wanted Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo to coach the Cavaliers. If you recall, Izzo was previously courted by the Cavaliers in 2010, when they fired Mike Brown, but Izzo chose to stay at MSU. Weeks later, James left Cleveland in free agency to join stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat.

I'm all for Lebron flexing. It's in his right to pushing the limits of what a player can demand. What's the down side here? Are people all of a sudden gonna stop looking to do business with Lebron?

I don't even know who USA would run out with in a 3vs3 game for the olympics.
KD, Harden, Westbrook?
Lebron, KD, Kawhi?
lol

Was this posted? I guess ESPN did a thing with Lebron and Draymond at the all star break just talking in a barbershop. Would definitely be a cool series if they keep it going, kinda reminded me of open talk.

This is going to turn out to be a timeshare seminar or something, isn't it.
This is the 2nd year in a row that a game 4 is played on a Friday night. Is this going to a be a thing moving forward?
Stephen A. credits Durant over Curry for playoff run... Stephen A. Smith breaks down how Kevin Durant's unselfish contributions have propelled the Warriors further than Steph Curry has during this playoff run
Weird how the narrative has switched from Durant needing the Warriors to Warriors needing Durant now.

Incredibly dumb narrative too.
Warriors are a 65+ win team with or without Durant.

They don't win Game 3 without Durant, bar none. Steph was getting no calls in the paint and Iggy was literally being ragdolled by LeBron. Durant's worth to the Warriors comes when you're on the road and you're getting zero ref respect, you need a guy you can throw it to that'll get his without too much difficulty. Last 3 minutes of that Game was Durant's worth to GS right there, who takes that shot if not him? Klay was the best next option at that point really.

Derrick Williams will be in rotation for the Cavs in Game 4 on Friday, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.LeBron tired of guarding Durant.
He's no Ruben "Kobe Stopper" Patterson, but the Cavs may look to get another defender on Kevin Durant. Williams hasn't played in the first half at all in these playoffs, but he has played 35 minutes in the second half due mostly to garbage time. Desperate times.
I think the biggest thing Durant has done, purely by doing what harrison barnes never did, is eliminate tristian thompson from being able to stay on the floor.
TT isn't getting the offensive rebounds he was last year. Durant by being active on the boards, and 7ft, basically eliminates his entire value. Which means their best defensive big in the PnR (he's not a stopper, but he's far better than Love) can't stay on the floor. Cause he's a large net negative.
There's all the other things. But that one stands out to me.

By unknown Go To PostCavs will win tonight, kyrie and the king are ready.Ummmm, I don't think those two scoring is the issue. They did combine for nearly 80 in game 3.
Notice Zaza running back down on the long rebound so Warriors were 1 short on the JR three.
Holy fuck
