By Oddinho Go To PostI personally think Spurs are very very lucky that Kane has his heart set on being Mr Tottenham. He's been consistently the best No 9 in the PL since Suarez left and is only getting better, more ruthless and more clinical. And English on top of all that.Lets hope it works out like it did for Shearer
That the best striker in the league isn't playing for Man Utd or Chelsea in this era is crazy. I was certain after his breakout season that Utd were gonna prize him away with a 60m bid, it just seemed too obvious not to happen.
By Willkiller Go To PostUnited not getting Greaseman now?Greasemann's confirmed lads

just a few details to be sorted out
okay the payment package is sorted out it's gonna cost 120m
just another 48 hours until it's done

oh shit greasemann's going to LA he's having his medical there
Okay he's not having it there but trust us it's VERY close

By Kidjr Go To PostThoughts on the Milik situation? The last international match he played, he ruptured his ACL. I'd be wary if I was running the club, too.
I don't understand why Napoli think a tournament would do more harm than good, the guy played 17 times this season.
Surely the experience would serve him well?
He doesn't need mounds of minutes just yet. Easing him back into the squad succeeded with Insigne, and with a summer of rest Insigne reached his best ever form. I suspect they're following the same path with Milik's long recovery (keep in mind, it's still been less than 8-month's time since his knee failed).
I get no joy in beating France, I don't care for gloating about putting them in their place.
We are Italy, we are favourites in every game we play.

The standard will always be so-so. All the good players will be at the under 21 championships or not released by their clubs.
Éderson is a world class keeper in the making and future brazilian number 1 for sure.
Amazing signing by City.

I remember Benzema. That was worse. Over a number of years. And you still never signed him.
Not sure why people Arsenal fans are laughing about us about the Pogba and possibly Griezmann transfer saga when the Wengerout fiasco was absurdly more entertaining.

I remember people doing it here but just to wind up some madrid fans. Realisticly i dont think a lot of us really thought we had a chance of signing him.

Lukaku is underrated here. From the age of 18 - 24 he has scored 85 goals in 186 appearances. Basically a goal every other game. These are remarkable stats for someone who can still be classified as a young player.
However the bulk of these goals have been scored when playing for West Brom or Everton. Whether he can do it with a United or Chelsea where the pressure is so much greater and the opposition tougher is another matter.
I'd take him at United though. Ibrahimovic aside we have no player with as good a goal scoring record as him.

As I said to n8, the number and quality of chances that fall to him might well increase at a better club that attacks more and with better creators.
I dont think ive seen a tangible Lukaku link to us other than people saying Mou likes him, ive seen links to Chelsea, plenty
Lukaku needs to move away from Everton fast.
Perfect time for him to move is this summer imo.
I'd take him in a heart beat. Sell Giroud to the french league.

Valverde's presser gave me a good first impression. He talked about focusing more on defense and having more control in midfield and Barca B. Seems like a man with a plan. What do you think?
By bud Go To Postif madrid wins, it means ronaldo wins the ballon. which means he'll have the same amount of ballons as messi. and that just isn't right.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostSo imagine Totti. There was never any decline.
Only a bald cunt who refused to play him.
And if you want to argue that there was a decline, then just think he still got Roma CL qualification with hisnpwrformances last season.
Your ability to shift any conversation toward Totti is incredible. World class.
Be honest Shanks, if your girl 3d printed a mask of Totti and asked you if she could wear it while you do the business, would you do it?
I dont care if CR7 gets the same amount of balloons as Messi, as far as I'm concerned he deserves it.
There's no doubt in my mind that Messi is better than Ronaldo, but man, what that guy does to get where he is, glad he's also getting his due.

By Esch Go To PostIt's weird to think that Ronaldo is 32 years old. I can't believe he's still so good. I expected him to decline sharply after 30 but he's still quite the player. Dat professionalism.Ronaldo is super underrated by so many here on Slaent, it's crazy how much hate he gets because of his persona and lack of recognition for the shift he's pulled in this year.
He's delivered in every single big game, when we needed him the most.
Zidane has done a phenomenal job managing Ronaldo, this article by Sid Lowe from yesterday sums it up really well:
Benitez tried to tell Ronaldo, a Ballon d'Or winner over a decade into his career, how to strike a ball, which way to stand when he took free kicks. All Ronaldo gave in return was coldness, bemusement, a touch of resentment. Zidane took free kicks with him instead, a training ground challenge. Twenty yards from goal, a line of balls, an inflatable defensive wall, a goalkeeper there to stop them. Zidane won.

Only if she was wearing a strap on.
I don't think i could ever violate Totti
As a whole, who gets more scrutiny? Its CR7 right?
Damn I was going to make a pegging joke.

I would pay money to see Zidane beat CR7 at free kicks. Especially because you know Zidane is going to have that cheesy grin on his face while he does it.

Ronaldo is a fantastic player, but he is just noway on the same level as Totti and Messi. They are players who go beyond mere positions and roles and redefine football.
Ronaldo is basically an AI, he might be able to imitate, but he can't truly express himself.
He is a fantastic winner, but when you just want to enjoy the art of football then you know where he belongs.
