Good.
There are very few things on this planet better than Fury Road.
Messi and Puff Dogs are the only things I can think of right now.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostFixed.Don't be jealous of American ingenuity.
(although TJs is owned by Aldi who are German)
By Meier Go To PostDon't be jealous of American ingenuity.Wow really? I had no idea. No wonder Aldi's started popping up after we got a TJ's down here.

Aldi's is garbage IMO though.
Also, most of the audience clapped and cheered at the end of Baby Driver. I think it's going to do pretty well on word of mouth.
The name is going to be a bit of an issue though. I told my coworker I was going to see Baby Driver and she laughed and thought I was joking.

I have a Trader Joe's across from my office. A lot of their stuff is loaded with sugar so I try to avoid the frozen isles. Lots of great snacks though and their meat section is getting better.
By Slizz Go To PostWow really? I had no idea. No wonder Aldi's started popping up after we got a TJ's down here.Aldi's here makes you give them a quarter to rent their carts while you shop. You get the quarter back when you check out. Great prices though!

By Slizz Go To PostWow really? I had no idea. No wonder Aldi's started popping up after we got a TJ's down here.I've never actually been in an Aldi. They had them in Chicago when we lived there but it was sort of seen as the budget place with weird food (maybe even sub Jewel). I know they've grown a ton in recent years.. I know they have them in Orlando as well nowadays but have not seen one in Austin yet. The Trader Joe's connection is mostly unknown.
Aldi's is garbage IMO though.

yeah thats why i was surprised it was getting such a good review.
I just thought of The Stands and remembered their album I wanted to listen to is called Horse Fabulous. I hope that Laboured will give them a shot if he has not listened before.. it's well, fabulous.

Liverpool band the Stands was formed by Scouse legend Howie Payne after his previous band, The Big Kids, parted ways. (Howie Payne's brother Sean Payne and Russ Pritchard of The Big Kids would go on to form The Zutons with Dave McCabe, Boyan Choudhury, and Abi Harding.) The Stands first came to national attention after Noel Gallagher of Oasis saw the Stands play at the Zanzibar Club in Liverpool.
Forgot the oasis connection over the years. Apparently the first time I've listened to them since 2010 according to my last.fm.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhoLidl is another store like Aldi. They're both German.
Apparently Lidl are German?
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhoIts basically a supermarket that has said 'people are here to buy food and toiletries, not to admire the presentation of the store'

Much the same as Aldi, only better somehow. Assuming Aldi is basically the same over there as it is here. Sainsburys seems to be going that way, not sure if anyone here noticed but we don't even try and make the shelves look good anymore.
By Killer7 Go To PostIs this an American thing? It's fairly rare but it happens sometimes. Usually for already established stuff like LOTR or Star Wars.

It rarely happens. Only recent movies I remember are Star Wars, Baby Driver and Tree of Life.
I find it funny how Aldi and Lidl has blown up in the past few years, I rememeber getting teased at primary school because we were really poor coming back from jamaica and it was all we could afford in the late 90's.
Now look at Timmy and his mum strutting around like its trendy smh.
Their fruit and veg has vastly improved, always used to be a thing it was literally go off the next

When Jennifer Hudson is singing at Jamie Foxx in Dreamgirls people were losing their fucking minds in the theater I was in.
By GQman2121 Go To PostSometimes we stand and clap during the movie!Saw Barbershop the day it came out in the theater. Probably one of about 5 white people in an 800-seater or so. Oh my god, that was my favorite movie experience ever. So much crowd reaction.

Here people stand up and silently file out, saving their conversations for the foyer.
Clapping at a film is disgusting behaviour.

By n8 dogg Go To PostHere people stand up and silently file out, saving their conversations for the foyer.I have clapped before. It's not a regular occurrence, but sometimes it's a necessity. Since Star Wars has become even more mainstream (if that's possible) and the audience gotten a bit younger and more diverse, it's been a little different for the last few ones. People would previously just lose their shit when the Lucas Film logo appeared.

By FlutterPuffs Go To Post2 more weeks until the remaster of one of greatest games in the world comes out lads. That's not XIII starring David Duchovny.
You get up, you yawn, you stretch, you decide whether to stay for a potential post-credits sequence, you decide to watch it online if it exists, you leave. No matter how good the film was.
Films I've clapped for:
Fury Road
Inception
Dark Knight
Avengers
I mean if you can cry at a film why not clap?
