By Andrew Go To PostYeah that's how I feel. It's easy to mark him and make him ineffective, when you have fucking Barkley behind.
Numbers wise he's amazing but I watch him play and⦠I am much less enthused.
He needs better people around him, and says a lot when he has scored 26 goals and Ross Barkley on second with 6.

By inky Go To PostHappy for him.Yeah, me and all. Lovely guy.
Lukaku is perfect for a Mou United. His teams are always more pragmatic than stylish so a striker that can reliably get 20+ goals even for a mediocre attack will be just fine. Mou can bring the defence up to Tottenham levels and rely on Lukaku to get the goals to win.
The problem comes when Mou inevitably departs, which I would imagine will be followed by a demand that United get an attacking manager who can play the same style as Ferguson.
edit:
Worth bearing in mind that this hardly ever happens. "He's in a better attack so they'll create even more goals" just isn't borne out by the numbers. When you see a player step it up a level, its invariably due to the individual, not their team members. Lukaku is still young though so the latter is certainly possible.

not sure how any of you thought her arc was great.
and the supernatural villains ninja ghosts lol
I liked her at first, but she'd already worn thin by the end of her first episode. Maybe I'm just a chauvinist given my main problem with Sherlock as well :P
In fairness Sherlock's decline has been something akin to Homer falling down Springfield Gorge, it just keeps smashing from one outcrop to another. Mary is merely one of them.

Supposedly told MUFC he can't come due to the ban. π
Next summer then. π
Rumours Milan have agreed a fee with RM for Morata and now will push on.
What a summer it's looking like.

By Ciaran Go To PostNetflix are slowly but surely morphing into cable network TV with all those cancelationWell, The Matrix feels very similar to Dark City (The Matrix actually reused sets from Dark City) but it had more action sequences that felt fresh at the time.
God the Wachowski sisters are such hacks, I'm not even sure how they managed to create one of best movies of all time.
probably with a healthy dose of plagiarism, a la True Detective.
By Cleff Go To PostI can absolutely understand why they were cancelled. Too expensive and not popular enough to justify renewal. But they were good shows with diverse casts you don't usually see in mainstream TV. It's a shame to have lost that.
I liked part 1 of The Get Down, haven't watched Sens8 yet .
Diverse casts are a good thing, it's one of the reasons why I like Brooklyn 99, and studios are starting to take notice.
It definitely helped the Fast And Furious franchise grow.

Crying shame... but fair all the same.
It looks like (read: bleeding obvious) the whole "My future will be decided in a few weeks" stuff had to do with AtlΓ©tico's imposing ban rather than United winning the EL.

Mou can bring the defence up to Tottenham levels and rely on Lukaku to get the goals to win. There really is no Ferguson style, when he played 4-4-2 for most of the time, and then to a 4-5-1, or a 4-4-1-1, or a quasi 4-3-3....
The problem comes when Mou inevitably departs, which I would imagine will be followed by a demand that United get an attacking manager who can play the same style as Ferguson.
What set him apart was he knew when he was getting left behind tactically and employed great coaches to help with tactics and set pieces.
Hell, one thing that never changed with Fergie is he hates draws and rather throw everything at the opponent in search of a win.
By Hitch Go To PostCan't come, or doesn't want to come enough to actually make it happen?
Due to loyalty supposedly.
Guessing he doesn't want to leave without a replacement.

excitement for this season in the dumps
After extensive research I have found the perfect website to gauge who we will sign in the future.
http://sporteology.com/most-handsome-soccer-players/
but it's not looking good boys, it seems like the only handsome, white, good footballer available at the moment is still James Rodriguez.

Should move on. Club can wait around until he feels like it.
By Xpike Go To Postwell Alex Morgan just pulled a Costa and got subbed 20 minutes into the finalLollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
She risked everything for that.
I've accepted that Firmino will be our first choice striker next year, and we'll have to trust the rest of the team to contribute enough goals collectively to make up for the gap between Firmino's numbers and those of a legit striker. I can live with that I guess as long as we get the rest of our business sorted. I do love a proper goal-hungry number 9 though :(

Just catching up with the thread today. Seems that around local lunchtime a few of you United lads really bought into this idea that the Greaseman is completely off. The reports make it sound like it was never on, which can't possibly be true. Because if that were the case then these same outlets are contradicting their own reporting.
I don't know what to believe anymore, but shit is changing so quickly from day to day I wouldn't sweat anything in this mercato just yet. Unless you're Arsenal. They've got issues.

It was on, Atletico and Grease was confident the transfer ban would be lifted.
It wasnt, so Grease decided to stay on at Atletico out of loyalty.
Who are the good, gettable leftbacks? Can't help but feel like they're all either too good for us, not good enough for us, going elsewhere or unattainable.
Griezmann may or may not go to United, but the idea that this saga is over on June 1st is absurd.
There will be another rumour about him leaving tomorrow and the muppetry will start all over again.

I had a dream the other day that United ended up signing Dybello

I wasn't even mad or I would've called it a nightmare. He looked happy
I watched the first episode of Sense8 and thought it was pretty interesting but my wife hated it. We never went back to it. Heard generally good things from other people though.
