By Hitch Go To PostHave no desire to go back to BotW or Persona 5 for some reason. Was enjoying them both a lot before taking a break.smh
By Wengward Go To PostYou burned yourself out watching 20 hours of BOTW before playing it.Nah, I burned myself out playing 100 hours of it and only exploring half of the map ¬¬
I'll definitely get back to them both at some point, just in one of those lulls I get into off the back of a game that badly outstays its welcome (Prey)

By Lupercal Go To PostWill next season be Spurs' make or break season?I would also be surprised if Firmino was staying at Spurs.
Cant see Alli/Firmino/Alderweireld staying after another trophy less season.
In any case, Spurs will inevitably lose players even if they start bringing in trophies because they just don't pay enough. It'll be just like Dortmund, and Atletico, and Monaco. Every year one or two players will leave for bigger wages and they'll try to replace them and stay at the top level. If they can manage that for 5+ years they'll probably be at a place where they can compete financially with anyone else and don't have to worry.

Pilib de Brun says we've made contact with Lukaku.
By Killer7 Go To PostPerisic isn't signingThats good news but it's not muppetry.
By Laboured Go To PostPilib de Brun says we've made contact with Lukaku.Fuck off, Horse. I've had it with you.
The last player we sold that we wanted to keep was four years ago
So we've done alright in retaining our best players since then. It's been like 10 years since we've had to sell a decent player to a another Premier League side

I can see Griezmann signing a new contract
More money for Griezmann next season (even if its less than he'd get elsewhere), more money for Atletico next summer, and Atletico can probably insert a clause that stipulates he can't leave this window even if his release clause is met, which would be a huge weight off their shoulders. They really don't wanna be going into August knowing that he could leave if he pushed for it and they wouldn't be able to even try to replace him.

Not allowed AFAIK.
By Scum Go To Postonly a matter of time scum
By Laboured Go To PostNot allowed AFAIK.huh
So Spanish release clauses are pretty cast-iron then, you can't even put a delayed activation on them?
By Laboured Go To PostWould be happy with Lindelof (more so than with Keane) but I simply don't trust the sources of it.This isn't how muppetry works.

Something ingrained in Spanish employment law that affects all employees and not just footballers I think.
By Francis Go To PostFalcao has extended his contract with Monaco until 2020. At least they've got him for keeps.Happy for him.

Actually, they were the two most expensive shows on Netflix besides The Crown. An episode of each had a cost of 9M.

God the Wachowski sisters are such hacks, I'm not even sure how they managed to create one of best movies of all time.
probably with a healthy dose of plagiarism, a la True Detective.
Too many above average programmes on Netflix
No one has time for that any more. They need more top tier programmes

I'm happy for him actually. If United has a transfer ban but he wants to fuck off to Madrid, I'll be fucking pissed.
I swear guys

Wonder if Daredevil is on the Sherlock path, where the creators have well and truly lost sight (¬¬) of what made it good in the first place, and put more and more focus on a boring side-character.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostBoth shows were crazy expensive.I can absolutely understand why they were cancelled. Too expensive and not popular enough to justify renewal. But they were good shows with diverse casts you don't usually see in mainstream TV. It's a shame to have lost that.

ok please god dont make this mean Woodward is getting James, because that's totally something he would do.
By Bungie Go To PostLukaku is going to be effective for United, because that's what he is.Yeah that's how I feel.
That's why people saying he's underrated I reckon. You look at his stats and wonder why people don't rate him higher. But then you watch him play and you do sometimes wonder how he's scored so many goals or how he would fit into your team.
Numbers wise he's amazing but I watch him play and... I am much less enthused.
