By Perfect Blue Go To PostReminds me of a few seasons back when Arsenal were linked with Nikola Zigic during the January transfer window and opted instead for midfield mastro Kim Kallstrom.
Zigic is a foward.
Kallstrom is a midfielder.
They were unrelated. And we weren't actually interested in Zigic.

The Lemina link is also bs apparently.

Premier League champions Chelsea and AS Monaco are in regular contract about possible transfer deals this summer, according to Nice Matin.
The two clubs have an excellent relationship. From Chelsea’s side, they are looking to conclude a deal for Tiemoué Bakayoko with AS Monaco – fee negotiations are ongoing. The midfielder has made the Blues his priority.
Talks are going at a relatively slow pace because of AS Monaco’s desire to potentially include some Chelsea players in an eventual deal.
The two individuals that Monaco have their eye on are Belgian international Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda, the latter of whom Monaco have been after since 2015.
By Esch Go To PostGuardian is wrong, we need clean out the deadwood. Gibbs, Wilshere, Per, Santi need to go. Need to sort out our CB situation with some sales or loans. We need to sign a quality attacker with real creative ability and a decent pair of shooting boots.
I'd keep either santi or wheelchair. Sell walcot ox and ramsey, reality is none of them will probably go.
I think we a transfer budget of around 100/120million it leaves our options limited, anyone who is guarantee'd will cost 60+ these days.
We need a CF as well, I think I'd take a punt on Mahrez and go Dembele from Celtic.

Lukaku is going to be effective for United, because that's what he is.
That's why people saying he's underrated I reckon. You look at his stats and wonder why people don't rate him higher. But then you watch him play and you do sometimes wonder how he's scored so many goals or how he would fit into your team.

So apparently if Chelsea outbids us for their choice of player, we will miss out on Fabinho.

I'll still be okay with it!
football and sports as a whole is peripheral to me, win or lose, it's all the same.
but seeing a man who gave his whole life to your club degraded like that is still painful.
I want him to go out with a win, not for Arsenal or the fans, but for him <3

Plz no. I have to make my pilgrimage to SF to sacrifice a hobo to the silicon gods.
I'd favor you unless Bron pockets Durant.
I really like how we're approaching this final. I don't know if it's the gambare! atmosphere emanating from Juve's social media accounts or sheer Allegrimania, but it's night and day compared to how I remember the days leading to our last two CL finals.
No drama or fear, just excitement at the prospect of lifting that damned cup.
Can't say I feel exactly the same, but yeah, I'm somewhat optimistic. Forza Yurt, you can do it.

By Ciaran Go To Postand you know whatPeople have to know when to bow out gracefully, to know when their time is up. Not everyone will have a glorious ending but Wenger refuses to accept that.

He could have gone out as the manager who never took Arsenal below 4th and only missed Champions League qualification on his first season but that's gone. He could have left the club keeping Arsenal ahead of Spurs but that's gone and it could be years before Arsenal catches up to Spurs.
On The Dark Knight, there's that famous scene where Dent says "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villian" and that's what is happening to Wenger. His insistence to prove to everyone and to himself that he still has what it takes to win it, when he clearly hasn't, could ruin his legacy at the club.
People will stop remembering the glory days and only think about Wenger as a stubborn old man that refuses to accept reality.
The world changes, football changes but I don't think Wenger can keep up with those changes.
Chelsea have won 2 titles in the past 3 years, Spurs have a solid squad that likes being at the club and it's a squad that will only get stronger, Man City have a hungry manager that wants to prove himself in England and has the financial power to back up that desire, Liverpool has a charismatic manager who is still getting used to the league, United have a truck full of money and a manager who won it all multiple times.
Arsenal right now are in danger of losing two of their best players, they don't seem to have the money (or the willingness to use that money) that their rivals have and they also don't have the attraction of Champions League football as all their rivals have and that helps bring players over.
Things don't look good for Arsenal and I kind of feel bad for Wenger but at the same time, it takes class to know when to leave and he clearly doesn't have that.
