CLEARWATER BEACH, FL (WKMG / CBS NEWS) – A Florida man climbed on top of playground equipment and yelled a vulgar explanation of where babies come from as children played nearby, officials said.
An officer said he watched Otis Dawayne Ryan, 30, climb on top of a piece of equipment where children were playing Sunday and start shouting that babies come out of women.
The officer said Ryan used inappropriate language, and parents rushed to remove their children from the busy playground.

Not one person could be heard yelling "Run, you little asshole!" What is America becoming.
I did this in little league, but quickly and ran into the parking lot.
If this kid ever makes it to the majors, I'm showing this video to the first pitcher he faces.

CANTON, Conn. (AP) — What might be the world’s hairiest vandal has destroyed the interior of a Connecticut woman’s car.
Linda Morad tells WFSB-TV she was house-sitting in Canton last Friday when she noticed her car lights on and heard strange noises. She called police.
Officers found a full-grown bear that had somehow gotten into Morad’s car and could not get out.
Police opened a door, ran to the other side of the vehicle, and the bear scampered into the woods.
The car’s exterior was almost untouched, but the car’s interior was torn to shreds. Morad says her insurance company tells her the vehicle is totaled.
There was no food in the car, but Morad had taken some garbage to the dump earlier that day. She thinks the smell attracted the bear.

As someone who has dealt with bikes almost running me over on the sidewalk, adding another thing to the mix blows.

Lime up and started operating in Charlotte not to long ago. Local authorities similarly weren't too keen on that approach, though I think they worked something out.
Edit: looks like all of them will be in town. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/article211336764.html

and I think its killing me
By FortuneFaded Go To PostDoes that mean you are only happy when orher people are happy or only happy when other people are not?Other people are happy makes me happy, but it's specific people. And it's not because I'm some kind of selfless person. It's that desire to be wanted and feel significant.

It's that desire to be wanted and feel significant. It takes a lot of work to get out of this mindset. Took me a few years and it can still be a struggle sometimes. For me, it was finding out what made me happy independently of other people and accepting and embracing it. A whole bunch of self-reflection and also forcing myself to get out of my shell to expand my horizons.
e: having supportive friends and family and having seen a therapist much earlier in life also helped a lot
A lot of the time the important part is the talking. An objective person who you don't feel the need to lie and can open up about all kinds of crap rather than bottle that stuff in and just become an anxiety ball.
By data Go To Posti guess my fear with a therapist is always getting put on something and losing my sense of selfTherapist can't prescribe medication; a psychiatrist can.
e: don't take this as saying "don't see a psychiatrist or psychologist"; listen to Apollo when he said you can just tell them no medication
My mother swears by the antidepressants she took. She was abused as a child. After years of therapy she got off medication but she credits an improved quality of life to meds during that time. My wife hates them and got off them fast. Didn’t like the way they made her feel. She also did therapy but did it mostly without meds. My brother in law has been on anti depressants for a decade now and we all worry they’re a crutch he won’t give up since he doesn’t go to therapy really.
By data Go To Posti guess my fear with a therapist is always getting put on something and losing my sense of selfDon’t even worry about it. The type of thing you’re talking about isn’t resolved with pharmaceutical intervention anyway. And it would be 100% up to you regardless. Talk to someone who does CBT - it has an 80-85% success rate with depression, and deals with talking through and taking apart the cognitive biases that cause the type of affective reattribution you’re talking about.
Coworker went to South Korea on a business trip and brought back some chocolate. Will report back later.
It is most likely shit. All Korean chocolate is shit, except for the ones you get in Jeju and that is because they are fruit chocolates.

Most surprising thing here is that Kendrick has control over his music like that.

The GAF/Era split has been so weird. Era should have ended up as the more enlightened version of GAF, but it’s full of shallow takes on social justice issues and crazy people. Their thread on that 30 year old guy whose parents sued him to move out of the house is full of people who got set off by it and are low-key defending him. Takes like saying anyone who has kids and expects them to have to work is a bad person. People who criticize the guy getting told off for privilege with zero sense of irony.
GAF meanwhile is full of Trumpers pretending he never did anything wrong and it’s just a liberal narrative.
I don’t post on either of them, but it baffles me how both communities ended up worse.
