e: if you don't like the taste of a particular flavor, go ahead and try adding stuff to it. it usually shouldn't be needed, though

I am legit happy you are trying out different foods/drinks.
I keep a few different variety of tea stocked for a million different reasons because drinking the one that fits perfectly with my mood at the time of drinking it is just a wonderful feeling.

essentially, you would never put milk / cream / sugar into green tea. The flavour profile is too subtle / mild. You'd dominate it with anything else. It's why it's always called "healthy" because ... you just don't add anything to it.
Black tea, particularly the flavoured or just strong blends CAN take milk. But the flavoured ones in particular rarely need the addition of sugar, as the flavours added tend to have a sweet aroma to them.
That said, do what you like the flavour of best.
