By livefromkyoto Go To PostNice, that thing looks amazing.I got the ornament weeks ago too.
Whew got the solar kills for Luna’s Howl. Would have loved to run comp today with ya Bold but I’m about to go play Mario Party lol.
Yeah now that I’m not forced to use a solar weapon I’m gonna switch back to Ace and probably arsenic as my loadout. Did ok using arsenic to take out most of someone’s shield then switching to ace to finish them off.
By Random Ass Username Go To PostThat's not too slow? Console pvp must be chill.Yeah it worked fairly well when I was going for just HC kills. Shot from a distance with arsenic then bursted down with ace.
By Bold 2 in One Go To Postlol, its cool, maybe next friday we can get a two hour run to chase dat 2100I’d join you guys if I’m on. I’m only 2 resets away from the Redrix, which makes the Not Forgotten the next chase. I’m not amazing but my career KD is positive now and the game seems to think I’m good enough now to be matching me up against people who show as ~2.0 when I look up who that guy was who somehow ripped everyone a new asshole camping out in a well of radiance with a sleeper and a high cal Hazard of the Cast seemingly the entire round. And that one hunter who was good enough to triple jump over my nova warps. Screw that guy for robbing me of my rightful revenge kills.
Just got a Trust with dragonfly/Zen. Handling MW and flared magwell. Then tigerspite with high impact and kill clip dropped. Also got a higher PL doomfang lol.
Wow, why didn’t anyone tell me Sunshot was one of the best PvE weapons in the game? These chained explosions are awesome.

Comp sucks in general, grinding in there to get a rank? There's some shit I just won't do and y'all seen me be masochistic when it comes to PVP.
Fuck yes!. Last wish done emblem got. Did it with destiny app randoms and one guy from era discord. Riven cheesed and I don’t even care.

I knew my handcannon fetish would be my undoing
Got a seed of light on my second (third?) time in Blind Well. Put it into Well of Radiance right away. Damn, this thing is fantastic, I can wear gear that has me at 529 and it doesn’t even matter. Just living in an overshield and orbs for days. There were two of us taking turns and it made the whole thing a cake walk.
Going with Nova Warp first was the right call, but this path seems all but mandatory for several modes. Chaos Reach just seems to be there for if you eventually get sick to death of playing support.

As a Lock main, I can not recommend Well of Radiance enough. If you are rolling with a crew, it is a must.
So it turns out that yes, these Lunafaction Boots work super well with Well of Radiance. Anything big gets trench barelled then 23 straight rounds to the face with the Ikelos SG. I can do this off any normal rift too, it’s freaking awesome. I’m 555 now, should raid ready in a week or so, drops willing.
Sour that the Ikelos SMG never dropped once for me before reset though, last week it was raining shotguns.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postpub groups i'm with can't get past shuro ://///Yep Shuro is arguably the hardest especially with a PUB. The fight itself is easy if you have the dps. Biggest issue I’ve seen is the puzzle.
Also LFK you’re technically raid ready now. 551+ is bare minimum and I got up to Riven with 550+ in the raid. I’d you guys need help I’m now free to help since I got my emblem and Riven kill. And hell my warlock and hunter are nearly raid ready too lol.

And like DY said raid drops will be like 10+ above your current PL. Obviously higher is better but I did most of the raid with 550s for my first kills. And hell I was 546 for my first Kalli kill.
Alright, cool. About to hit a soft cap for just about everything else at 560 anyway. Maybe I’ll jump in this weekend.

The timing is really unforgiving. Runs where I think we're blitzing through have us with barely any time for a single mistake in the puzzle room.

By DY_nasty Go To Postlet the hate make you strong... what is wrong with you? Do you even trust anyone in your barracks either? I mean I know in games w/o native voice chat it's near impossible to plan out shit unless you're in a clan, but there has to be some basic understanding of simple moves where if I follow a person in a two man group, that person ON SOME LEVEL will have my back.

under no circumstance have i ever trusted any teammate in any FPS to hold a position. ever. I simply expect potential degrees of failure and plan appropriately. Why? because if you get washed I can't afford to be surprised. It ain't even personal. Having someone's back and trust are two different things. Can I count on you to attempt to do your best in support of a mutual goal != I expect you to succeed on holding up your side of the deal.
that's not even a "im too good for you plebs" thing either. relying on people to check corners for you is how you both get in a highlight.
and fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck no i never trusted anyone in my barracks for shit. tv got yal fucked up with that band of brothers shit lmao. even when i was legit gooning i never trusted a dude to scan his lanes, bring all of his equipment, or not shoot me by accident. fuck i look like bleeding out and hoping you got your shit together...
... side note, you are so like my sister was/is in the military it sin't funny. You pretty much said word for word what she said the times I asked her when she was stationed in Korea/Bosnia/Ft. Hood. The only thing missing is the "HELL NAW!"
You lack of trust of your Destiny fireteam saddens me. Does this mean if we were teammates you wouldn't trust me?

Things to never trust:
- Solo queue teammates
- The US military
- Anybody in any way connected with the New York Knicks
If you're solo queueing you just gotta expect people aren't really finding good sight lines or being aware of flanking or having too much map awareness. If you play expecting that you're just doing yourself a great disservice.
Everyone here is better than me at that the game, and I wouldn't trust them either. *shrugs*
Counter Strike turned my heart cold a long ass time ago.
Counter Strike turned my heart cold a long ass time ago.
Damn, blink is such a game changer, it gets you out of so many situations that are normally a coffin for warlocks. I just went an entire round without dying, and it wasn’t for lack of the other team trying. I should have given it a real shot sooner - though maybe I wasn’t really ready for it yet.
But what I really want to know is, who gave The Colony to the entire Crucible at once? It’s everywhere now.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when TV was making videos declaring sidearms superior to shotguns? Good times. Now he’s sayinng SGs kill more than any other weapon.
I’ll admit, I got sucked in and I’ve been using sidearms the last week or two. They’re great for when you’ve got someone trapped in that no mans land between mid & short range, or up close if you catch then without a shotgun out. But the idea that you can use them to consistently snuff shotgunners rounding a corner seems to be a fantasy. There are just too many shotguns with ridiculous range, and they kill in an instant.
I hate to give up the ghost on sidearms because I really like some of them, and you feel so much better outplaying someone with a Last Dance or a Drang than getting away with a shotgun kill. But I might be forced to give in and join the shotgun army, on aggregate I don’t know if it’s worth it to keep fighting the good fight.
By reilo Go To PostBecause it's Bladedancer with a different name.I recalled this when I saw this video, it looks like spectral blades is designed with a different approach in mind than BD. It looks pretty fun tbh:
bladedancer and bladestalker have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different set ups. one of the highest skill floors for a class in the game too if not the highest.
bladedancer, even after getting nerfed into the dirt at every update, was still incredibly powerful because of blink, quickdraw, and a really good grenade set. there were multiple ways to play it strong topped off with one of the best supers in the game.
bladestalker? the best perks require weird shit out the gate. in order to get the most out of it, you have to be a monster already.
just because the supers are kinda sorta similar it doesn't mean that they're played the same. supers are a very very small part of any match.

Main issue is consistently landing precision kills while crouched in a meta where people are mobile and not grouped together
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostMain issue is consistently landing precision kills while crouched in a meta where people are mobile and not grouped togetheryeah and most people can't even land headshots with a heavy pulse rifle standing still.
supers are a very very small part of any match.
That might have been true pre-Forsaken, but now with super mod stacks and all these ridiculous exotics/class buffs you can get them out 3 times a match easy, and every class has roaming supers built to rack up kills.
I basically never take off my Eye of Another World, which shows who’s got a super charged, and after the 3.5 minute mark half my opponents are glowing yellow at any given point for the rest of the match. Yellow titan? Gunslinger? Doesn’t matter if you’re in nova warp, turn around and go back where you came from because you’re 98% about to get smashed/blade barraged.

3 times a match is enough to keep a bad player at 1.0 k/d. If you're getting washed the majority of the time you're *not* using your super, then you gotta be focused on everything outside of those few seconds of god mode.
Also, you don't need Eye of Another World to see who has got super charged. I'm prettttttttttttttttttttty sure that it shows up on names as you pull the crosshairs over them. You play enough games you should have an idea of when supers start to come up too. In Comp it straight up tells you. Not only that, but plenty of people have this absurd fear of getting super'd - its not that bad. If a super kills just one person/trades, then you won. Hard.
Even then though, a super use alone isn't going to carry you or anyone to victory. Almost all of the significant super boosting abilities require some quality ability use/slaying and if you're sacrificing every mod slot you have to build super then you better be godlike the rest of the time too. Maybe it'd be nice for Trials where people are cowards, but even then players in Super waaaaay more fragile than back in D1. Shit, plenty of heavy weapons are simply more practical, available, and simply more deadly than a lot of stuff.... TBH, starting with two shotgun rounds after death >>>>>> supers on deck.
Super chains are only really common for pub stomps and highlight reels when matchmaking becomes joke status.

Hey
WHAT ARE TOU TRYING TO SAY DY
I don’t agree that supers aren’t key right now though. With team shooting being what it is and control coming up so often, it means people are bunched up & those blade barrages are getting 2-3 kills each time easy. That’s 6-9 kills over the course of a match, potentially more for other roamings like hammers. It means you only need to get another 12-15 through other means to have had a good score. Figure 4-5 of those are going to be shotgun & grenade kills, maybe another with class ability, then 2-3 off grabbing heavy once. In looking at average results, you realize that with the way the game’s designed shooting w/primaries isn’t quite as big part of the game as it may seem.
Then in comp modes supers matter even more, their correct timing is usually what swings a match. One of the worst parts about solo queueing are the people who aren’t reading the feed to know who’s popped a super, and suddenly start trying to race ahead of my nova warp with the stormtrance they stupidly just set off when we were going to need it for the next round.

Details for Festival of the Lost are up:
The community might be siding with the villain on this one. I totally forgot that guy existed.
By “Bungie”Master Ives has been struck down. Maybe someone wanted to settle an old score, or lost their temper when receiving an Edge Transit. Whatever provoked the wrongdoing, justice must be served.
