Those rumours have sort of been debunked. Bungie doesn't intend to ban people who use that stuff and they're looking into why those people who claim they were banned were banned.

Destiny 2 cannot automatically ban you, only Bungie can ban a player after a manual investigation

Yesterday, we banned approximately 400 players on PC

Bans were applied to players who were using tools that pose a threat to the shared ecosystem of the game

We did not (and will not) issue any bans for the use of overlays or performance tools, including Discord, Xsplit, OBS, RTSS, etc.

Ah, gotcha. It sounded rather weird that overlays etc would be the cause. Good to know that was not the case.

Any prediction on what the challenge mode will be? Was looking at the emblems and the gauntlet one particularly intrigued me.

Not sure what to expect from challenges, they just give an emblem right?
Also, I’ve watched some PC streams and the game feels kinda different, I don’t know if it’s the fps difference but it certainly doesn’t look like the one I’ve been playing lol.

The game went to shit performance wise once I got to the EDZ, for myself and many others. Getting severe hitches while the counter says anywhere from 50-60fps. This goes away for a bit after a restart but it always comes back when I go to the EDZ.

Performance for me has been smooth sailing, at least 80fps in the farm which I presume is EDZ?

Hey, is there anyway to unmap F1 as the Character screen shortcut?

It's messing with my ability to take screenshots with Geforce Experience (plus, the I key is much more serviceable than F1)

it seems like FPS slowly drops overtime.....I am almost near locked in EDZ @ 60fps.....and then I could come back and stare at a wall which requires almost no rendering and be at 52.....and it will not go any higher.


oh Vsync is partially broken in engine.....well, guess ill fix that via nvidia

so when vsync is off im getting 80fps....when its on it goes to 52, even when in areas where it should be 60.

Yeah, you can skip so much of it, and there aren't so many places where you end up getting shot from all angles.

Are handcannons more potent in the pc pvp?

I know I've asked this before but how does PvP balance?

I'm lvl 10 / PL 109 and aren't I just going to get smashed by all the higher level / PL players with better guns?

It is balanced, but it's up to you get a feel of the type of weapon suits your style of play fir the crucible.

Note that the most effective guns in pve don't always translate to pop for instance.... Most of the exotic.

Honestly, I'd wait till you're a higher level and have unlocked some legendary gear and weapons before venturing into the crucible.

Don't mess with crucible early. Just not worth it. They'll try to balance the levels but people are still gonna have great guns and armor with perks.

And wtf do i do with these EDZ tokens I get all the time and those shard things. Game does not explain these at all.

Just go up to Devrim (Guy in belltower with a high powered rifle) and you can give them to him for gear.
Dont give them to him until you hit 260 power level.

Its fine anyway, Just keep them all from now on until then. From doing all the challenge shit on 3 characters you will build up about a hundred so you wont really be needing to focus on them.

Bungie has never been great with communicating to the player how Destiny's in game systems work.
You'll get the hang of it. Don't worry about it too much while you're playing the campaign and leveling up to 20.

I came to Hope on Titan for the mission. I'm stuck inside where as every other video shows people starting outside. There's no doors or no way of getting out. I logged out and refast traveled and keep getting thrown in here

I believe 260 is the recommended point to start doing the "Powerful Rewards" type shit.

Yeah, blues ain't worth much unless you find one that is higher light level than your current gear than you can use it to infuse and up the level of your legendaries or exotics.
