I just switched back to Riskrunner and Origin Story. I was running both Midas and it just wasn't working out in the Crucible. So much better now.
I didn't play much of Destiny 1, but is The Iron Brigade supposed be such a joyless grind? Despite doing quite well in the actual matches, the process of getting decent gear out of it is painful. The time investment here is seriously out of whack.

Seriously though, feels like people are pretty much done with the game, and its becoming more and more difficult to get a regular fireteam together. I'm basically relying on inviting random people from gaf or a Liverpool forum I'm on, fully aware that they probably won't talk (which was an abslute nightmare trying the nightfall last night), and I'll probably never play with them again.
You're gonna struggle to get fireteams if you're not in a clan that is regularly active.
Still love playing the game, but can only properly dedicate some time to it on the weekends.

I’m not done with the game I just had a crazy ass last two weeks due to work. Last week I spent a total of 20 minutes on my own couch and had the TV on for none of it. I’m probably gonna be back on this week sometime once I settle back into a routine again.

destinygaf does noobie raids like daily or weekly or something, and as far as I can tell they tend to be pretty successful most of the time--I'd give that a look
i've taken a break from the game--mostly its just life and wanting to spend my gaming time beating new games rather than grinding old content, but there was always the lure of the old games where you'd "fall behind" if you ignored it that isn't really present now--i'll wait for expansion news.
think i'll play some bloodbourne tonight--great for october atmosphere and I'm far overdue on beating it
