Previously, in stories like The Final Shape, you experienced the story as A to B to C to D in a nice straight line. In Codename: Apollo, our story takes place over dozens of threads you’ll explore and discover. So, when you land on our brand new location, the story starts at A, and then you can choose if you want to explore C first, or try and get into B, or maybe investigate D.jfc this never works well
By reilo Go To Postjfc this never works wellff xiv has two end-game dungeons like this, but they are both optional lol
(i also haven't tried them, yet. just unlocked them this weekend)
By Dazenheimer Go To PostThe art team cooked so fucking hardIt's too bad they never translate this good artwork into the game because the graphics engine seemingly cannot keep up. Plus the godawful skin customizations always ruin the best intents of the artists.
If they want the game to look like their art, they need to peel back the chromatic aberration, add some more advanced geometry and foliage, and introduce some depth of field where they can frame their artistic intent better.

But yeah, I wish Hermen would gift them the Decima engine Kojima style.

its why a D3 is kind of necessary. Leave all the limitations behind.
