I'm part of the problem when I do equip my salvo but nonexotic GLs should have never been outside of heavies. But even ignoring GL bounce and magnetism for a second I hate playing in games where brehs are breaking out combos to kill me in any way but their gun. In Quake games, it is recommended to set it between 110-120. Any less and you are at a disadvantage and much higher makes it difficult to have consistent aim. In either case, that fov range is way beyond what D2 (and nearly every other game) allows, so max that shit out.
e: i think there were some older Quake games that allowed up to a 360 fov which is extremely trippy; very fish-eye and nearly unplayable lol
I kind of like low FOV for Siege, a game where you're pretty fisheyed onto holding pixel peaks and corridors. I go max FOV for Destiny.

They decided this time around the more Trials games won you get harder opponents but you can win a ton and not properly go flawless (7 wins on a single card without an L for gear). So you can imagine people who are actively trying to go flawless are mad as fuck right now. Me, I'm just laughing my ass off over here at the schadenfreude.

naw. the last word is kinda special for a lot of reasons. its meant to be hip fired, and its rate of fire is way faster than other hand cannons. because you're essentially going all in on your hip fire shots (which are harder to hit), you're rewarded with more damage on crits. the drawbacks to this are its range is basically sidearm/slug shotgun tier, if you get flinched significantly you lose, small clip size, doodoo in air accuracy, and if you miss a single crit you're basically no longer getting the most out of the weapon and become food.

im more curious as to what all was broken and tied into it that caused the delay. the fps/latency stuff is coming to the surface every month now. i'd rather they be straight up and say that certain interactions are inherently tethered to a location THEN to the player. i mean shit, dunemarchers are basically shadowshot with less steps and non-stationairy. wouldn't shock me at all if heir was actually a mobile bubble or rift. there's also issues with barricade/stasis walls digging below geometry and providing permanent damage reductions as well - from the last patch to 'fix' walls.

Sidearms and Fusion Rifles - Due to an ancient data entry error, Sidearm and Fusion Rifle projectiles were non-hitscan. Behind the scenes, the engine does math converting a projectile from non-hitscan to hitscan if it would cover a specific distance in one frame, so this would only occur running at 60fps or higher β shoutout to a specific community that provided us with evidence on this issue, you know who you are.all the whats
Increased Sidearm and Fusion Rifle projectile speed from 999 to 9999 (which makes them hitscan regardless of framerate).
