i can tell you from experience that trials is basically take every shot you can and the first team to get a pick then collapses for the 3 v 2
Game been shit when it comes to taking on multiple people after a team mates death. Nades not strong enough, flinch just too much, long cooldowns on shit you need to defend yourself. And then they might have a crazy rampage or gun proc too off that kill that means you're better off fucking off then dealing with their ass.
I don't like comp anyway trials would just be even more stress. Could never stand elimination style in Destiny, especially with orbs and supers.

Eh the biggest issue is bungie doesn't want to deal with any sort of cheating or exploiting. Account revocs, DDOSing, hacks, aimbots, cheap free accounts all been a thing and then they roll out with fuckin Trials lol. It's really noticeable in trials cause the stakes are higher but honestly you run into more and more in regular crucible period. Gettin' real fuckin' old.
PVE is absolutely devoid of anything interesting and its worse than a cellphone gacha just to get started. Nobody picks up destiny to play trials even on a good day.

So it's just gonna be a den of cheaters, that's what Azte is running into. Trials is one of the few things offering new shit and you have to win to get it.
Ijs headlining a season with shit that had to be canned because it was more harm than good several times over is probably just not a good idea and waste of everyone's time.
Faults of trials aside, no one is installing destiny to play it. And everything added outside of that is so boring and dry it doesn't even warrant passionate response. That's how lame the season is. People finally aren't even complaining about it.

It's pretty lame yes. Trials should never be a headliner for any season really lol. Shit would be niche as fuck even done right.
The Heavy Frames and Warmind cells are the only redeemable mechanics from this season, lets hope they take that forward.

Its not so much their design philosophy - its that D2 was built on a casualised foundation - backtracking by adding the complexity they have over the years has caused problems.
Bungie in its infinite wisdom decided to "sunset" weapons and gear. As of right now you can level up fairly old armor that's got stats you like even if you can't put the most recent mods on them. Then there's weapons that take some people over the course of seasons to get them since they can be pretty long and arduous quests. This is not going over very well with the community as you can imagine, especially since it takes a lot of materials and resources to Masterwork anything.
People were going to whine no matter what.
Sunsetting needs to happen otherwise we will keep getting samey safe weapons designed to last forever.

Well first of all they don't need to sunset gear in this way and I'm already side eyeing them bringing up "silver" in regards to transmogging. Especially before they even specify how much bullshit or materials or restrictions that will entail.
Second, they aren't exactly brimming with content, quests, new shit etc even though seasons were supposed to help with that. Instead we just get modified menageries or forges. I won't even talk about how fucking lame Guardian Games was, just another extension of "see the same shit do bounties" nonsense, didn't even get a instanced forest on this one, just grind and farm the same ol' shit.
I don't have any faith in them and the community shouldn't either.
