699 lol. Been that. I've had it give me a 700 item then turn around and for the same type next PE give me a 699. It's dumb as hell.
By Bold 2 in One Go To Postoof, try the dreaming city challenges, that should give some boosted powerful dropsAlready did that.
These days I'm just killing folks with my Last Perdition in crucible seeing how many Ls I can get in a row. Yesterday it was 9 in IB. Today was 9 again. Game hates my guts.
Went and tried tier 3 and it's just getting stomped off the bridge by big invisi minotaurs. Real fun.
economy is still mostly kind of just broken
wanted to run some 5 slotted paragon and super mod builds for each of my characters, and its just not gonna happen...mods are far too expensive to purchase even for a guy like me who is a fairly dedicated player, and it doesn't make any sense--these mods are crucial to making diverse builds
lets not even talk about how much I have to spend to have a chance at getting another rampage spec mod

lol In my anger stage I'm just like "firebase echo has to be the worst map I'd rather play Blind Watch."
economy has always been trash
today I went to ada and gave her my whole ass for just a chance at a rampage spec mod--got two quick access slings and just shrugged
its stuff like that that's flat out anticonsumer

By Random Ass Username Go To PostSad thing that stuff isn't even a grind, it's just casino nonsense. Its a page out of the Korean MMO grind book. Each time you upgrade your gear, there is a chance it fails or deletes your gear. And you can get it up to a +9, at the least.
d2 is a mobile game economy without pay to win options basically
like--absolutely nobody is served by this and its weird
i'd feel better about it being str8 up pay to win to be honest. then i can just pay my shameful 15 dollars and be good for a while

Also even the pay stuff that does exists, there isn't even that much stuff to collect/get honestly, not if you've been keeping up. Even I got a bunch of full eververse sets and I just get them off engrams.
lol damn
also if D3 doesn't have a straight up team death match playlist
objectives in this game just nah

wouldn't fuk with it but its a requirement for the first kinetic linear fusion rifle out there so *shrug*
dtg has a bug up its butt right now about pvp, not that I'm content with it but they always kind of miss the boat imo on why it's so crap
quickplay is probably sweatier than comp these days tbh
we're just at a point where the casuals have fled, and the hardcore are quickplay champions, on top of having multiple seasons of pinnacle weapons that became even easier to earn this season---it's a goddamned sweat box, 6 stacks of not forgottens/lunas/recluses
its not really sustainable--and the real test for how much people will tolerate it isn't now but at the very start of next season when the casuals hop back in to peak around a bit, and come to find out everyone is rocking all kinds of exclusive punishing gear in the crucible

Pinnacle weapons really killed shit off, I'd say one of the biggest culprits is flinch on those things too. Most of the time I have no issue with the speed at which guns kill but firing back is nigh impossible. Bungie just doesn't get it though and the playerbase still doesn't either. All pinnacle weapons do is kill off the more casual population of the game. Hell even some people just aren't up to going through the trouble of some of those quests either given how tedious and soul killing they are. But going up against them is just so much of a chore why bother.
I forgot to mention how much control blows too since you can basically farm on spawn easier than any other gametype.
was enjoying my break away from this shit and they gotta pull me back for a grind for that dumb kinect fusion rifle today
oh well, at least its just infinite forest shit...or at least i hope

PVE grinds unless it's the forge type ones bother me less than everyone and their mother having grenade launchers right now in PVP for mountaintop.
Got the Fusion rifle already. Protip for the strike related stuff just go into a Nightfall solo to get your orbs/nade kills.
So the event gets you a perk which is basically quick af nades for an hour. Get shinobus vow out and go skip grenades. Cheese for days.
Yea got the rifle but I'll see what it can do next expansion. Time for a break.
Did the shinobus vow cheese before logging off. Got a ghost in the night medal my first and only game.
Jokers wild was aite. Will c what's up with opulence.

Somehow I still got the orb triumph and masterworked my Suros Regime in that nade and supers horror show.
i cant comment on the raid yet, but division 2's end game got me shook by how much its got going on
3 whole new specialization trees opening up a whole new world in terms of combat roles, and big changes to the overworld and missions to make replayability more interesting
i aint even gone in the dark zone yet

By Kibner Go To PostLet me know if the end game is more than bullet sponge fights with reinforcements.
I haven't played enough to say. I can say that a group of people should always have the tools to break enemies down quickly. By yourself though you're unlikely to be kitted to do this. Because there's just too many different ways an enemy can be at odds with your kit. Maybe you need foam shit to hold him in place. Or maybe you need an emp to disable his shit. Or flame grenades to ignore the armor.
Long story short, as a solo player in end game content, some shit is gonna feel tanky. As a group though, if competently put together, it should be a wash. With randoms in matchmaking, it could be annoying and feel tanky if everyone is just rocking their solo play kits.
But i could be wrong. Havent' played enough to say and almost certainly won't be raid ready. I'll be watching that content to see whats up.
Appreciated. The end-game fights in the original bored me after a few hours and getting over the spectacle of huge damage numbers and having to use my abilities for once.
Things D3 should have but won't. If you finish a PVE encounter like a strike or verdant forest a man or two down you should get more shit. Hell just getting more shit when you basically bust your ass would be nice. Finished Verdant Forest a couple times now a man down because they had a bitchfit about me and the other guy going farther into the thing and wanted to boss out for cores ASAP or whatever. Got dick this time for my efforts. Feels great.
season seems dead kind of early--not sure if they didn't space things out properly this run or what, but it felt like as shit as black armory was, there was stuff to do nearly all the way up to jokers wild
JW blew its load a bit early with thorn, the allegiance quest, and entry into tier 3 reckoning. Nothing much else to chase at this point and we're maybe two months away from opulence drop.

Nothing feels rewarding once you got it. It's either a tedious ass grind or other people got it doing even less. Like how people can just afk in Strikes still.
Those guns were OP since day 1. The fact they are only nerfing them now reeks of typical Bungie stupidity.
They're nerfing them now to add in the next new hotness people will grind for in comp because they hate themselves.
By reilo Go To Postlol that's so Bungie. "Why would I grind for this new gun when it's no better than a Luna?"Don't you not only want to deal with fucked matchmaking but literally the best gametype ever that is Countdown?
They're trying to play it both ways
Dangle a legitimate competitive edge out there that objectively puts you at an advantage to keep people playing
But oh no, that actually fucks balance as a whole because the entire landscape is now tilted towards getting that advantage at all costs otherwise you simply can't compete
Better pretend you care about your average player again even though you only listen to the streamers - gotta keep them around otherwise all of PVP turns into tryhard unenjoyable sweatfests because everyone else quit
