Service revolver is aite. I was gonna grind it out until I saw that it CAN'T roll explosive rounds. Which is kind of a deal breaker for me. Still useful to have, but its got nothing to defend you against a good explosive rounds trust or the howl twins. Functionally speaking at that point you might as well use a nice bygones or something. I'm still gonna go for it though.

The Last word is really good. I still don't have my thorn-- as soon as I saw it wasn't meta I just got lazy with it. Nearly done with the quest though.

DY, shotguns only lost one meter of optimal range on OHK. So basically they are still meta. It gives you a little more breathing room with something like an elite high impact fusion roll, which I like to use from time to time depending on my mood. Last Word is really solid. Had a really fun time using it + lucky pants and another hand cannon.

Main thing to watch out for now DY is the pinnacle SMG available this season--the recluse. Its a quickplay stomp weapon. Basically as soon as you get a kill with any weapon, you can switch to it, and it gets like instant 3x stacks of rampage equivalent, and it basically erases people. .45 ttk or something, best in game. So you really gotta be aware of not sticking too tight to others. If a scrub gets melted next to you, then someone with that recluse is a god within SMG range for about 5 seconds.

I may go for a Bygones but not sure the best way to go about it. I've already seen the bad times from Recluse. Kinda why I'm leaning back towards shotguns. Also, entirely possible my internet is shit and causing some issues on my side.

The dream is bow/last word/sexpants. God knows I'll never see a decent bow though. Hoping a mid-long handcannon that's three shot comes around in the meantime. It's brutal trying to PVP without a fall back weapon or perk.

I got liars handshake too btw. Not entirely sure about how to proc it consistently yet.

Get yourself into some forges and get a blast furnace with a decent roll to try out as well. Many of the maps you're just better off finding a great line of sight and picking people off.

i think i've got the steadiest one in the world too. that's something to keep in mind... guess that one counted as a god roll or very close. zen moment seems waaaaay stronger than it used to be too.

Even my rolls for my BF aren't that good when ada rolls up with another pulse rifle frame I might farm again. It's more pve good with Feed Frenzy and Ambitious Assassin.

i'm gonna put myself in aim school for the next day or so. i'm just gonna assume a lot of my issue is rust and try to ignore the izanagi body shot bs, wall hacks, and mountaintopping.

make sure you also just have chests on hand that deal with flinch that match the weapon you're using most. Try to get one too that covers a larger gamut, you can get one that's all rifles or light arms versus just say handcannons

Some perks feel like they do diddly shit that one definitely actually does some shit.

Snipers just don't have enough ammo or perks to give a shit about 'em and in pvp the ammo count is lol. Honestly it's something folks won't talk about but weapon in ranges in D2 make a bunch of weapons useless. It's why Scouts are still who gives a shit since pulses took up their range and deliver a better and quicker kill.

IB is about getting a shit ton of power hiking bounties thrown at you--also if you're on a certain thorn quest step, it's made to be completed via iron banner or comp for efficiency, and iron banner is generally going to be the fastest route to completion

You might want to hurry up and close thorn out this week.

Honestly I would just love solo play being possible since that's the only way I get a challenge these days but they put in some mechanic on most things (usually a fucking timer) so it's not.

The worst part isn't the MM because even if they fixed that it's still tedium epitomized.

For me it's the game modes, whoever came up with countdown should be sent packing.

Countdown does take the cake for tedium, all of the stuff I played has too many damn rounds too.

If countdown was the CS like mode, I think I actually liked it. Until it got past like the fifth round or whatever. It should have been a best of five instead of a best of nine(?).
