That April 22nd date won't be anything, he won't even need to be there. The courts here take forever, last traffic ticket I got (and fought) took 8 months until it was resolved. There won't be anything to suspend him for until next year.

So if the Spurs finish with the one seed, they can choose any of the 7 teams below in the first round, the Thunder would get to pick from the remaining teams, so on and so forth. Then you have situations where coaches have to decide resting vs literally getting to pick the match up they want (maybe, depending on what higher seeds do and what lower seeds are left)
Or what about situations like in the East....Lets say the Pacers hadn't fallen off the face of the Earth and the Bulls were playing pretty bad. If you were the Heat with the number one seed in that scenario, would you want to go against the Pacers in the first round? You beat them, its literally a cake walk to the finals while the West beats each other up.
