Mmm pretty simple. Learn about CSS media queries and break points. Essentially, below a certain width you want the first element to be 100% width, at which point the secondary content will be pushed down and retain its two column grid.
Ah, yes. It was pretty simple.
Now, about the images. How do I correctly put the text/titles inside of them?

You can set the image as a background and use background-size: cover or you position absolute the title to the bottom but make sure the parent container has position relative.

You'll learn little from me on this :) But I love design.
Film, photography, writing and computer science on the other hand. Need to stop lurking and start contributing.
Yes! I want this thread to be more active. I love that people always throw feature ideas at me, but I wouldn't mind hearing from some expert UX people in here as well.
My wife threw this my way this morning, I need to check it out on a larger screen. I wonder what the SLAENT typeface nerds think of this?
By 4k30 sy Go To Postis there a generally accepted beginners book on principles of design?I have no idea. If there is, I imagine it would need a complete revision every 3-5 years. Maybe even quicker with how fast design changes for websites.

A good looking logo or poster from 50 years still looks good today even if it might not be appropriate for today. What type of lines or marks lead the eye, arrangement of shapes, stuff like that.
