Finished Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's cut. I don't really play games like this often, so my stats were kind of all over the place, which became a bit of a problem towards the second half of the second act. Ended up just focusing on charisma (for the etiquette) and long range combat, with an emphasis on rifles. What I should have done was put crazy points into shotguns and enough shaman/spellcasting for the extra AP, because assault shotguns are fucking OP in this game. With the two round burst on a flank, you're looking at 30-40 points of damage, easily... With the team setup that I was rolling, I was clearing out some of the stronger late game enemies, within the first turn (or two). I'm guessing hard mode circumvents this.

I'm going to start another play through and either roll as a decker or mage and make some more..."assholeish" decisions.

The story is dope af. The twists and turns at the end were crazy.

I'm officially hyped for the Hong Kong story.

It's dungeon crawling, but it's damn good dungeon crawling. It's one of the most challenging and rewarding RPGs I've played and I really love the series.

It's also the most accessible in the series and the maps and exploration is fun. It forces you to break traditional RPG habits and be more wary of what you're doing.

I say it's a definite pick up at least just to try it. There's a demo on the eShop.

-The mobile base is called "The Avenger" and is a converted alien ship.
-There are five classes now — I'm guessing "Ranger" is the new one. They mention "Momentum" as a new class ability.
-"The state of the world affects each combat mission's environment."
-"Use concealment to ambush enemy patrols."
-"Loot enemies for precious gear and artifacts."
-You can save fallen soldiers by carrying them to the extraction.
-There are virtually infinite combinations of map, missions and goals."
-Also confirms head-to-head multiplayer on generated maps.

Really not much of a point to speculating, when there is a stream tomorrow. I do wonder what the air game is like, if there is one. Would be cool, if we could shoot down satellites.

Curious as to what the negatives are for saving fallen comrades. Valkyria Chronicles was fairly lenient, but, you could fuck yourself if you were playing foolishly (lose 2 soldiers instead of one).

Praying they focused on great action and worried less about increasing map size for once.

Work on a good foundation even if it cuts the normal playing time in half and you'll get a fanbase thats more than happy to buy expansions.

I just cant get into Fallout, not my game.

I'm going to give New Vegas a shot even though Fallout 3 bored me pretty quickly.

Need someone to talk me out of buying a new graphics card. The 980 Ti and Witcher 3 have got me looking at newegg like I ever play games that are demanding.

Visually the game looks quite disappointing. I understand they started developing it some time ago but holy shit it seriously looks like a 360/PS3 game. It doesn't even look as good as GTA remastered. This is the next Fallout? I can only imagine how the next ES will look, probably won't even touch what modded Skyrim looks like.

Fallout looks like hot garbage graphically. Was definitely planned to be cross gen, or they're still using/haven't done much to Gamebryo.
