So Burnout Paradise, yeah or nah?
cop the burnout ultimate box if you can find it, its got all the dlc on the disc. the superbike dlc is crack
If you liked LTTP then you should like it. Link Between Worlds is so good and I love how silky smooth it is.
I got Link Between Worlds
hope this shit is good
You won't be able to go back to a non 60fps Zelda. Also, LttP is my favorite Zelda ever and LBW is absolutely amazing. Best Zelda since LttP in my opinion. I'm not a 3D Zelda fan.

all i remember is some mirror getting me stuck in some place that seemed irreversible
What is everyone's feeling about Dark Souls 2? I loved the first one and already preordered the sequel on Steam but I'm surprised to read so much negativity about the new one.

That the art-style didn't match up to the original. The visuals were significantly less impressive. The atmosphere lacked creativity. The design of the enemies weren't as good. Not sure if it's more of folks who enjoy a game until it becomes popular and mainstream losing interest or what, but yea.

I finally played through The Walking Dead: 400 Days. Russell's story was good, I thought the rest ranged from mediocre to bad. Does anyone have Season 2 who thought Season 1 was very good and the DLC wasn't that good?
DA: how long have you lived in Japan? What brought you there?
Was that for me?
If so I been out for almost 11 years
I was a Japanese history major with a CS minor
Always been interested in Japan I guess...
Ace take a look at this:
In your case I would go with the 4670k. Motherboard all I've ever used is Asus, but I've read/heard good things about that Gigabyte board. I wouldn't mess with Biostar. Definitely recommend a SSD, even if it's a cheaper one. If you're building a new machine, it's pretty much a necessity nowadays. If you've never used a SSD before, you put your OS and whatever else applications you use the most including games on there. The speed increase is dramatic. After I get past the motherboard manufacturer screen during boot, it takes 8 seconds for the windows login screen to come up.
You'll definitely need a heat sink for the CPU. I have personally used the Corsair closed water loop coolers since I started building and they are good. The H60 recommended here is good. For GPU...do you plan to ever go beyond 1080p?
You can also get by without an optical drive. Since you do music though...you may want one?

I can reccomend Gigabyte. Particularly as the quality of Asus seems to have been on a stead decline the last 5 years.
Aiight Smokey that looks dope! Sadly can't do a clean install at the moment so moving hdds and adding one more to this build...
Looks to be exactly what I needed tho

Case is a mater of personal taste. I know the smaller ones are the rage now (unless you'll be using your current case...even more savings for you). A mix and match of pieces from that chart will serve you for a long time.

Asus has been good to me. Their Republic of Gamers line is still pretty good. I haven't done anything to my motherboard since there's no point...I'm still on a 2600k.
Trying to patiently wait for Haswell-E in the fall (8 core / DDR4 ) before bringing my motherboard/cpu up to speed with the rest of the parts. And a new case. My current case is great, but I've done pretty much all I can in it and it's cramped. Got a second SSD along with the 780tis and I had to tape it to the back of the case since there was no other room for it :geek:

My last few Asus Mobo's had no longevity at all. I'd get 2years and that was it. Bam. start getting errors. after ~~~ 3 such instances, i gave up on the brand. Been running Giga's since, and it's going much smoother over the longer term.
Also, for your new case. Get a Lian Li. I did. <3 the thing.

Maybe I've just been lucky then. Which Lian Li case do you have? I'd need one with a good amount of space for potential water cooling in the future. Right now I'm looking at a Corsair 900D for a replacement. Huge and can pretty much do any configuration you can think of. With my current case due to the 90 degree orientation, I'm limited to two GPUs and they have to have the blower cooler so that the heat doesn't get dumped into the case.

But just about ever Lian Li case supports water cooling i believe. And they still make full tower cases. Which mine is.

i got you breh.dat tax write off, clown.
Come see me breh

im on a 2600k @ 4.6ghz. cooler is the corsair h80i, chassis is silverstone ft02. case is solid as fuck i just need more room... even though it's pretty large to begin with.
Here it is watercooled:

Like my cases spacious...

Here it is watercooled:
im leaning towards the corsair obsidian 900D.
i might be mistaken but its one of the new full tower cases that can accomodate the Asus Z9PE-D8 WS mobo properly.
gigantic mofo too. :/

That watercooled one isn't mine. Just showing what it looks like. My CPU temps are usually in mid 60s-low 70s when gaming. My GPUs mid-upper 70s. FT02 is one of the best air cooled cases because of the motherboard rotation and the 3 180mm fans pushing heat towards the top and out of the case.
The 900D is huge breh..saw it at Microcenter. Thinking of getting it as well. It's considered a "super tower". It's really a watercooling ready case...it's air performance isn't that amazing from what I read.
My first knock up is at about 1,080 bucks for it...
that's with only 8 gigs of ram...
so my question would it be better to have 16 gigs of ram and only a 1 gig video card or 2 gig video card and 8 gigs of ram?

As you can always add more ram sticks later and cheaper too

If i was getting a single slot, id definitely be getting an ft02
kinda thought so... was just trying to get it under 1000 lolMy first knock up is at about 1,080 bucks for it…Definitely get more video ram.

Definitely don't get less than 2gb of VRAM. Even that might be an issue as this gen moves along. 8gb RAM is fine.

GTX 750 Ti or 760?
ATI cards are fairly cheap here I can get an ASUStek 280x for almost the same price as the 760..

Google anandtech gpu bench 2014
You can compare various cards across different gaming benchmarks. I wouldn't consider the 750 Ti compared with those other two. I might go with the 280x for the 3gb VRAM. Take a look at anandtech though, that should help.
