basically lolTitanfall needs more weapons, fix the stupid melee kick, always online server so you don't get kicked if you're making new load outs, and more customization options and it would be perfect.
for me that is
so TitanFall 2
ill keep my tearing until i can get it in high res IPS.
I hear you but...I dunno man. It's legit. I dunno of it'll come in IPS anyway. Something about the way IPS works makes it very difficult to achieve high refresh rates?
The power of the Monado is going to be back :D
xenoblade is so good. my fav rpg of last gen
I've never even played it and I think X is my most anticipated game. They've had so much time to work on it and with all that Nintendo money and guidance, it's going to be polished as fuck. In my dreams it's a Xenogears level story with FF XIIish gameplay, but with guns and transforming mechs - in HD.
Producer has said the world is more than 5x as big as Xenoblade's. It's gonna be humongous.
Watch Dogs is the kind of game that will be $20 or less when Xmas rolls around.
I haven't heard good things.

how is maddeni need someone to give me impressions too
been hearing a lot of awesome things about it so far
I believe its just cost and market that are the limit right now. The gaming market doesnt exactly go with the need for a 10bit monitor, ect..ill keep my tearing until i can get it in high res IPS.

Getting the Madden XB1 bundle tomorrow.

Haven't played a ton but it seems pretty good so far.
As someone who hasn't bought a Madden game in 3 years but has been exposed to it every year by playing it with my cousin, I can say it is definitely an improvement. They have actually made defense more engaging with a a timing mechanic to jump the snap and get around/off blocks to make tackles. There are a bunch of tutorials and drills like in 2K (I don't know if these were in other games cuz I mostly played local matches and didn't mess with the peripheral stuff) that help teach not just mechanics but concepts (cover 1, countering the blitz, etc).
Presentation is improved as it doesn't feel like an up-rezzed last gen version (still stitching issues with some animations), and the lighting seems better. They also have some interesting camera angles that you switch between easily that makes playing something like D-Line more focused. The only thing that stinks and has not improved over the years is the crappy commentators. Simm and Nantz are putrid shit in real life and the repetition of hearing them call the game (incorrectly in many instances) only makes it worse.
Overall it seems better than last years and I've heard good things from people who play it religiously as well.
Note: Don't buy The Walking Dead Season 2.
Really? That sucks. I bought the Walking Dead bundle Vita last year, and it was absolutely amazing on that system. I had been waiting for the whole thing to be collected before getting season 2.

if you can manage to get a copy it's worth checking out especially since you are looking forward to X. I cant even imagine how big the world would be since Xenoblade is huge itself.
It's a long game, some parts are a bit tedious from what I remember but overall it's an awesome experience. If you do try it, avoid the side quests, those are useless.
Madden is legit this year.
Ultimate Team is no joke. They went all out on that shit. Actually the presentation all over is top notch.

Super vague spoilers:
One of the main characters literally gets a bridge dropped on her as her death scene.
There is two lines of dialog following this death.
The death is caused by the people on watch (who are on watch at a time where the next hour or two are critical) deciding to fuck each other so hard they can't hear or notice a swarm of Walkers approaching their location.
All of the tension in the last episode is caused by two group members, who have shown nothing but loyalty up to that point, deciding to randomly betray you (the little girl they love) and leave you to die so they can go off with a guy who just tried to murder them and the rest of the group. They have basically zero information on this guy who tried to murder them either. Except for the fact that he tried to murder them, of course. But they still decide to betray everything to go with him. And they give him a shotgun.
It gets baaaadddd.
And there's no gameplay (after like the first twenty minutes) and no real cool presentation tricks this time around either.
Finished The Last of Us last night.
What a game.
I for one would be perfectly fine with them continuing the story a few years later down the road. Lots of interesting directions they can take it without seeming contrived, IMO.

So I have been waiting to buy TWD Season 2 up until now because I just saw that the released the conclusion (I don't like to have to wait for all the episodes and would rather buy them all at once), and you're telling me the story has gone full retard?
Seems like everything, including TWD comic book, has gone full retard. Wish it would end.

"Their attitude is, 'okay, I am the customer. You are supposed to entertain me.' It's kind of a passive attitude they're taking, and to me it's kind of a pathetic thing. They do not know how interesting it is if you move one step further and try to challenge yourself [with more advanced games

The Wii U has honestly been a revelation. It was absolutely made for people like me who have been gaming since the '80s.
Challenging, surprising, and most importantly FUN games.
The original Wii was a great idea for its own time, but I'm glad Nintendo seems to be moving on from that mentality.

Same here. I sold the Wii after 18 months, didn't care for Gamecube or N64. But from launch, the Wii U felt like Nintendo remembering where they came from. It's a shame the PS360 crowd initially trashed it out of ignorance and 3rd parties are gone, but I think it'll be fondly remembered in the end. It's going to have some pretty great looking releases the next two years.

DKCR: TF
SM3DW
Pikmin 3
Mario Kart 8
Smash Bros.
Wind Waker HD
Zelda U
Will guarantee that it's remembered fondly.
And really, that's about as many games as I can afford to play over the course of a console's life nowadays. I don't need a AAA release every month.
I think I'll hop in once Bayo 2 releases..
Or maybe not...yesterday I did a count of just PS4 titles..sitting at 39 total..19 retail and the rest PSN titles
Ain't got time for all of that :x

TBQH I wouldn't even own a Wii U right now had my then four year-old not tried to put two games into the disc drive of my Wii, ruining it. I rage-bought a Wii U while we were still in the black after hitting the lottery with our tax return by living in poverty with kids.
Nintendo Land blew my socks off and it is easily, EASILY the most underrated game on the console. Calling it a demo mini games or whatever does not do it justice. It's more like a multi-arcade.
The Wii U is what so-called core gamers wanted last gen: Nintendo in HD. How you get pissed off at Nintendo in HD, I don't understand. I think it's to the point where some people just want to Nintendo to die. How can you be that full of spite? What did Nintendo do to you besides double, triple, the size of gaming audiences in one generation? Is gaming some kind of exclusive enclave where "dirty casuals" began trespassing? Grow up.

Man everybody has something. Mine has always been tech stuff. Then when I got the gamers club with the discounts and reward certificates it just hit a new level. Best buy is a block away from my house so just out of boredom or for lunch breaks I end up there and shit happens. Microcenter is 5 minutes away. Frys 10. Literally surrounded by these places :geek:

kinda happy i traded in basketball for mmos. i might get wiped from time to time but it doesn't lead to getting my knees drained.

What MMO are you on now? I liked FF14 a lot but stopped after the free trial was over.I haven't had the urge to pick up FF14 once I lost my main character due to some weird issue with PSN and Sony.
Been playing a lot of DC Universe. Its solid. Simple - but I like it.
In terms of hype, two games I'm most hyped for over the next two years are Zelda Wii U and Mirrors Edge 2. Ass Creed Unity looks really good. I'm not really a fighter game player so Smash doesn't do much for me. I'm definitely going to jump on the Bone bandwagon for that White bundle and Halo masterchief edition. Halo 2 is still the best MP of any console game ever (well, outside of Warhawk).

Putting in work. One more map to be remastered map to be revealed. I'm thinking it's Terminal. I was always shocked that they didn't remake it for H3.

Rogue legacy is pretty good. Disgaea series is trash. Don't' know much about child of light. I Played the demo and it seems alright. Has a battle system similar to Grandia which is pretty cool but the writing is some literary prose that is kind of annoying.

PS1 games rock on the OG Vita. I dare say it's the best platform they've ever had. I continue to enjoy Chrono Cross on it.
Have you played Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward yet? If not it's definitely worth checking out, especially if you played 999.
see
i've had zero escape on my vita forever and i just can't get into it. i might play for 15 minutes every 2 weeks and i know i SHOULD like it but it just hasn't clicked
(ended up buying child of light and rogue legacy)

I thought so too for the first 7-8 years of my marriage. I could be addicted to drugs or alcohol and ruin lives or I could be addicted to porn and video games and yet my wife always knew where to find me because I would never leave the house. Didn't work out that way though.
So I had been reading that Kid Icarus Uprising was starting to become rare to find. So I picked it up off Ebay for $30 hoping to use that $5 off coupon for purchases of $20 or more. I FRIGGIN FORGOT TO USE THE COUPON AT CHECKOUT! So now I'm kicking myself.
After posting on FB Gaf about not really understanding 999, I gave it another shot when ppl said to keep going. It's starting to move along a bit so we'll see. I don't like games that are not truly finished until you've beaten them multiple times. Rarely is the time and effort worth it. Seriously, has anyone done better than RE2 yet? That was 1998!!!

Dang, if someone had told me the story was written in verse I would have bought it at full price at launch. Too much time has passed. Will wait for the next Steam Sales.

New 3DS...literally, that's what it's called...NEW 3ds. See the nipple above the buttons? That's the second stick...
has an improved CPU for exclusive games to take advantage of like the following...
Xenoblade...
Oh, and the speed of the gif is the speed of the actual game in the video...

The payoff in 999 is better, trust me. And the game lets you skip through all the parts you've already done.
