I played most of it on Xbox One. It's fast as fuck like old school FPS and the wall running makes it fun to move around. It's pretty good.
I'm debating on PC or X1. I'm used to the game pad for COD type games, but I refuse to use one when playing on PC. On the other hand X1 version is on some wiiu 729p BS.
my xbox friend who never plays pc games held down a crazy 6+ kdr against pilots on pc
get it for pc, controller is fine
my x1 is hungry
Dkc was the game to get me towards a WiiU.
I needs that $50 price drop tho
this is a racist joke screaming to happen
but I will avoid
I got a wii u literally for games: dk, 3d world, smash, and kart.
let me bring you to pc land . you will like what you see
Let it starve. Go with the better PC version and learn to use the superior control scheme. It'll serve you well in the long run.I played most of it on Xbox One. It's fast as fuck like old school FPS and the wall running makes it fun to move around. It's pretty good.

My setup will have to do for now though.
I love how much hate the Xbone is getting from ps4 fan boys. I only have a ps4 and it's just an expensive Blu Ray player right now.
All my gaming is on the PC atm.

I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get a PS4 or an X1. I'm happy with my Wii U/3DS/PC right now and nothing in the near future for the next gen consoles really appeals to me.

Parts of my rig are a bit dated. My SSD is an Intel and is running on SATA II :x .Going to do a full makeover in the fall when Intel's 8 core processors/DDR4 hits. I'm gathering pieces now to water cool everything. Part of that is also getting a newer/bigger case. My 2600k has been a beast since release though. Current rig will probably become my secondary when the new stuff hits in the fall.
I played 9 hours of Wind Waker HD today. I got in that Zelda zone. I never beat it in the past, it's decent, not really that hard. Triforce quest is a little bit of a drag, must've been worse on gamecube.

Yeah, uh, I got this game a while ago when I got a Wii U thinking I would be interested. and I honestly haven't even had the energy to play it. I made a mistake and I didn't realize how much I don't really give a shit about Zelda anymore...but I do think I would dig a fun adventure game just for chilling.
Should I sell or do you think it'd be worth my time?

I always don't feel like I'll enjoy a Zelda game, then I boot it up and start playing. I get into the zone of getting to a temple one sitting, then beating the temple the next sitting. It's just way different from all the other gaming experiences out there, so I find it refreshing. Wind waker HD is just as polished as the other Zeldas, and has a lot of personality. I say give it a shot and play the first couple temples. The hardest part is the start, it feels daunting to get into a 30 hour game, but once you're in the zone, Zelda's always got you.
when it comes to 3D zeldas, I always seem to enjoy them more the second time around. I've been playing through skyward sword again and I'm loving it to the point I'm sad the next console zelda won't be anything like it.
Wind Waker is okay... I dunno I still don't really like it that much. I got WWHD day one and I've only beaten Tower of the Gods. I think it's worse than TP. I really hate reading about Zelda on the internet because everybody wants something else, but I'm happy with where the franchise has gone and feels it's gotten better and better. Like Skyward Sword is my favorite console Zelda. I hope Nintendo doesn't take all the stupid Zelda needs to be Dark Souls and Skyrim at the same time things to heart. I just want Zelda.
I've played through all of the other 3D Zeldas, but I just haven't gotten around to Skyward Sword yet for some reason. I guess I've just been reluctant to start any long ass games these days.

I love Zeldas for what they are. The most uninspired one I played was Twilight Princess and even that had great moments. I hope the series goes on forever, there are few other games like it. It's always refreshing when one comes out because they're so unique from the sea of shooters.

For some reason I never beat it on GameCube, though I remember enjoying it. Picked up the HD version and I'm about to hit the Triforce part. Such a great game. Looks great in "HD" too.
I just popped in Wind Waker and quit within 5 minutes....shit mang I just don't think I have the patience for these story games anymore.

Normally I would but you know that Mario Kart and Smash are coming out and I'm gonna need my Wii U to whoop your ass in that 8-)
I thought Wind Waker HD was awesome, it plays so good and it looks great. I played the heck out of that over Christmas, then right after I decided I wanted more Zelda so I finished Twilight Princess. I liked the way Wind Waker HD played a lot better.
I started AssCreed IV today. My first Asscreed that I've given a fair shot. It's actually pretty enjoyable other than the combat.

shits a lot better when its a sea shanty simulator than when im in some city story mission
I really do wish they would just drop the stupid ass subplot when it turns to real time with all the animus bullshit. Who enjoys that stupid shit? Its especially worse because its forced and every single time it switches from the historical fun stuff to that bullshit I turn off the game because i feel like i'm at a good stopping point.
I am so fucking LTTP but I just plugged in my PS3...holy fuck their PS+ game selection! That shit is not on PS4 yet...
So if anyone wants to play Payday and do some heists some time let me know :-P

Is it bad that I don't play some games on my main account for fear of it staining my trophy status or whatever?
Like Killzone. I played the first 30 mins of that game and could tell it sucked. Now I have it on my profile at 1% completion. Bothers the fuck outta me.

Picked up Thief for PS4 and a $50 XBL card to get plants v zombies garden Warfare. Should help the X1 struggle.
Smokey, I'm thinking of moving on from my 2500K. dat new rig itch is calling
Talk me out of it
What's the rest of your specs?
I almost did the same yesterday (I'm on a 2600k).Got a bad upgrade itch. What I told myself was the 2600k is plenty good. One core from a 2500k/2600k has as much power as the entire CPU in X1/PS4. It's a joke how far behind their specs are to 2+ year old PC tech.
If you want to upgrade something get a SSD. IMO it's the single most important and noticeable upgrade you can do to your machine.

im in the proccess of buying some dudes case/mobo/complete water cool setup lul
i7 4770k at 4.4 GHZ
won't need a cpu upgrade until 2020 lul
when wii u goes to below $200 i can see a ton of people buy it and go "why didn't we buy this sooner"
I bought it at launch and i have no regrets lol :P

When you say water cooling are we talking about a custom loop for CPU and GPU or a closed loop solution like a h80i /h100?
Im in process of getting stuff for a full custom loop. Already got the fittings for free from my boy mkenyon on GAF. He also sent me a CPU block. I just need tubing, radiator, and a pump. Thinking of doing that and getting my feet wet that way before getting a full blown block and bringing the Titan into the loop.
Not to worried about the 2600k if I mess up... But with my Titan I might retire from the game if something happened.
GPUs love water. A Titan runs in the 80c range OC.. On water it drops to about the 40c area. Huge. And since the 700 series down clocks when temps hit 80+ it pretty much allows you to unleash beastly overclock on your GPU with a smug troll face.
Are you getting it from Craigslist or something?

ill have to ask about gpu cooling...judging from the photo it looks like its there but obviously I run an SLI setup so I might have to make some additions
yep, craigs
i don't want to do this on my own..stuff stresses me out lol

You're still gonna have to do maintenance on it. Changing the fluid every X amount of months which means taking the loop apart. If you do cooling on the 680s you'll need 2 blocks, tubing, fittings, and probably a bigger radiator. You're short cutting it a bit by buying one with a loop that's already built for you using the CPU. Which is fine. Just trying to get you to be aware of the other stuff that may come along with it before dropping your cash.
That's probably on the cheaper end and for a full blown loop that's probably not enough.
You don't have to do the GPUs. You could roll with the 4770k. Eventually though you have to take it apart to clean it or change the fluid. There's a bunch of dynamics here. If you decide to include the GPUs you'd need to see what's the max size radiator you can get in the case to cover those two parts. There's also things like not mixing metals (copper and nickel) in the loop. It gets real serious real quick. If you're serious about it I would PM Mkenyon on GAF. Hes legit with the WC stuff.
What kind of case does he have?

shit, thinking about adding a SSD is what got the itch going.
But yeah, that's definitely the next step. 2500K, 10 gb RAM, GTX 660.

Yeah get a SSD. Will blow your mind. They are all pretty good nowadays with Samsung being the most recommended. I'm assuming you're at 1080p so the 660 will still serve you well. You're in a good spot with the CPU.
Avoid the Wii U until after Smash if you absolutely have to buy one. I'd argue there is one must have game and that is Super Mario 3D World. The others? Meh. Just wait, you'll probably find one at less than $200 with a game thrown in by June at the rate things are going.

I agree with this but Mario Kart should be a good title.
Super Mario 3D World was amazing. New Super Mario U is so bland...I really don't have interest in keeping on going. Luigi U is all kinds of great though.
And yeah Wind Waker going back to Amazon lol
Super Mario 3D World really is under-appreciated. It's beautiful, fun, and the cat suit really does add something new. NSMB U? smh. Mario Kart should be fantastic.
Own a PS3 which I hardly turn on. If COD2 and Doom 64 came out on PSN I wouldn't get the PS4 until a price drops.
