zoe quinn made that shitty depression quest game and is famous for being a professional victim on twitter and stuff. and ehhh her ex revealed (basically wrote a fucking novel about it lmfao dude caught major feelings) she fucked some dudes behind his back, like a lot of dudes, which wouldnt matter at all to anyone i guess since whatever shes a liar and its bad i guess but thats their own shit to deal with who cares

but it turned out she was fucking members of the gaming "journalism" media and her married boss and shit to get favours/help her cynically play the victim card for publicity for her game

and it turned out that there was other seedy shit she'd done like use her fans to browbeat this charity gamedev thing into nonexistence for being "oppressive and misogynistic" or w.e before promptly stealing the idea and collecting money to do the same without any planning or giving a release date for the event or w.e. and then she used bs copyright claims on youtube to censor people talking about her. and other stuff.

people were obvs like not only is this this blatant corruption in the gaming media but the blatant hypocrisy involved is staggering when youre pretending to be for some upstanding, directly related to women in the industry social movements or something (probs cant suck your boss' dick to get ahead and then champion women with a straight face lol)

then the usual people started white knighting her, the mods of the gaming reddit autocensored everything to do with it and told anyone asking about it to fuck off and some people said neogaf is censoring stuff too and lo and behold i cant find any threads on it on there (though i did not look hard)

Both caps are better than the default DS4 sticks. I like the black ones better but they also really increase the height of the sticks:



The green caps don't make as significant a change in height as the black ones...but they're fucking green. I dunno. They both improve the feel x 10. The Elgato offers streaming at 1080p/60fps. PS4 and X1 have it built in but bitrate is terrible and capped at 30fps. Separate box also allows you to do more customization and storage options since the stream will going through your PC.

Plan to get some Astro A50s for Destiny/Master Chief Collection and I should be good on the peripherals for a while.

Loving it so far. I bought and played a bit of it on Mac when it came out a couple years ago, but this already feels like a massive improvement. The controls are mapped perfectly to the DS4 and it honestly feels more natural than using a mouse and keyboard to me.

The graphics are solid too. 60 FPS with no dips.

Worth it if you're on the fence IMO.

Thanks - Kinda what I was expecting regarding the controller setup. It always seemed to have consoles in mind more than PC when it came to gameplay.

I'm probably gonna sell my TV to further get my ass out the door when it comes to packing and getting up out of here, but D3 should be worth picking up between now and Destiny Day.

I'm really happy I rediscovered God Eater before buying D3 and Xillia 2 though.

after the big update a few months ago... its been pretty much outstanding. difficulty tiered better, loot makes sense finally, no more cheesing bosses, partying issues resolved.

And the smaller screen is as flattering as possible to those shifty 32-bit graphics. I've never managed to get into it before now, but it holds up really well in this format. I just spent like 4 hours on it and now my neck and hands hurt. (I'm gonna play some more).

game was my heaven back in the day...but I got it off ebay as a burned cd, this was back when guys were straight up selling pirated games on ebay without penalty because it was still a new thing

anyway, I couldn't access the second disc :( something the way the hack was setup didn't allow me to insert a game while it was playing

loved the hell out of disc 1 though

I never played it back in the day because all I remember was reviews grumbling that it wasn't Chrono Trigger.　I bought it off PSN for my PS3 a couple of years ago; I hadn't played a jrpg in years and suddenly got hungry for one, and I'd heard a lot of people liked it in the years since it came out.

But I didn't feel motivated to get through all the tutorial stuff the game throws at you in the beginning, and it didn't quite look as good on the big screen. But I took it for a spin on Vita and it really hooked me. The battle system has aged better than a lot of comparable rpgs, and the overall atmosphere is definitely classic Square at its peak.

I also bought (and barely played) FF VIII at the same time, maybe the Vita can rescue that for me as well?

I played beyond the part where you get to choose to fight Magus. I stupidly chose to kill him. Regretted it an hour later. Started the game over. Never finished it :(

I really liked the game but I also played it like 8 years after it came out and knew what to expect going in. I actually kind of like the way it linked the story with Trigger even if it really doesn't make any sense.
