But Ace Combat 4 and on (not counting Horizon at all) is great cheesy gaming.
I am a big uc gundam fan so I can just deal with it since I know bandai will cater to as many fans as they can with new works and expand on old works. Even if a new alternate universe series sucks they always have other material or series to fill the gap for other fans. it helps that gundam is a huge industry itself and is popular across all of asia.
I can't really get mad, i might be disappointed but i enjoy things more finding a reason to like it an roll with it.
Huge fire emblem fan, my first ever RPG on superfami. Fire Emblem Awakening was an unbalanced piece of shit excuse for a strategy game, terrible, but I still enjoyed other parts of it. the newest fire emblem game, fire emblem if has writing so bad but it is so hilarious that it is good, and it has better gameplay and balance. fire emblem won't be as good as Seisen no Keifu, Thracia 776 or Shin Monshou for a while, but I can still hope and enjoy the good parts.

By shun Go To PostMy Ryu Ga Gotoku backlog is pretty big… way too much time playing 4 and 5 for the 100% completion on both New Game+ I think 250 hours total to do a complete 100% finish last year…
working on Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin and Zero the past couple months and both are really fun. I like both settings in each of these and I really like how Ishin focused more and changed the combat up. even tho i just play as kiryu in ishin the controls feel fine and i have more options. I just really miss playing as Akiyama since he is my favorite character in series.
I think 5 is the best game in the series period, but Ishin is second best and zero is pretty good too. These two had a different focus tho and it was a nice change of pace for how huge 5 was as a game. I will not get PS4 anytime soon but I have hope for 6 and how it carries on after the cliffhanger ending in 5.
5's pacing is so goddamn bad that i can't in good conscience place it above 2 or 4. i'll be fukkin pissed if i have to do another prison escape in a yakuza game again.

I would rank it 5 > Ishin = 4 > 0 > 1+2 > Kurohyou 2 > Of The End > Kenzan > Kurohyou > 3

pause taunted after mid range jumpshots
made the comeback hitting treys with seth curry when it was clear i was going to get the W he started to sulk
dude literally used all his pause time, then started using all his timeouts, then fouled intentionally so time would eek by, then he'd run out of bounds, foul, run out of bounds, foul
shit was salty on absurd levels

i think that one of the main reasons that -I- like it right now is because its extremely narrative driven and stuck to the rails after a game like xenoblade c x. if i were to guess, you'd be more of a tales of guy tbh
oh and if you never played valkyria chronicles, i'd def give that a run on pc

Trying to finish Valkyria Chronicles, and get finally it out of my backlog. I think I have three missions left. Some of these later maps I'm not to fond of, but it's been pretty great so far. Kinda hoping that they port the sequel to PC too (if it's any good).
D3's game play has improved so so so much over vanilla launch. I never cared much about character customization anyway. They've added so much stuff endgame and made builds much more gear dependent. There's usually about 2-4 viable end game builds for each class now and each season changes those builds up and adds new items. The drops rates are better. The experience gained has been increased and improved IMO.

The closest I can get is Fire Emblem. Persona 5 Golden is still in my Vita, but all I play on it is Spelunky.
