Not sure I want Schick. Would like to see if he can do it again at Samp.
I guess this is the perfect example of why they got rid of co-ownership. He would be the perfect player to half buy and then leave at Samp for a year.

By OneTwoTee Go To PostGreasy man should try and join the Kloppogeddon. Doubt we'd want him though. He might score 40 a season but would he replace Firmino's workrate? It's a no for me
By Fergie Go To PostThat's what some of the rumours state, yeah. I'm sure it's make or break with some of the bigger targets in relation to CL.0-0 would be a bad result for us considering how many games we are drawing at home.
Incredibly big game tonight. I'll be happy with a 0-0 or a score draw.

What a stupendous signing
vice president patrick swayze confirmed we are after his fellow countryman Schick, which means it all but confirms he's a juve player, just a matter of picking a number now.
What a m8
By Vivalapizza Go To Post0-0 would be a bad result for us considering how many games we are drawing at home.Wouldn't be too bad considering most of our results, I just have some faith we'll do them at OT at least with how important the games are getting now. I'm just going for the pessimist route.
0-1 or 1-1 would be a better score to take back.

We've done okay at home in the cups but an away goal is crucial for us. We score so few goals that if Celta score once at OT we could be in trouble.
Rather than guessing the score, how about we guess who will get injured?
My money is on Martial, Phil Jones and Young.

By Linius Go To PostCurious to see how United will do against Celta.John Guidetti hat trick
Mourinho will get injured on the touch line. Somehow Jones will be over there making a tackle and crash into Mourinho by accident.
But Mourinho's hard so he'll coach through it. Like when Vince McMahon tore both his quads getting in the ring and still did his promo, just sitting down though.

Do you guys still want to give Martial a third season?
Surely United and Mou want someone that is capable of delivering *immediately*
This whole let's develop them youngsters and they might turn out to be alright business only works when you can afford to do it (as far as competing for titles goes) and...well, can you?
When you look at player like Mbappe, Dybala and Belotti you can't help but wonder what you see in him

He has already delivered immediately in his first season.
Up to Mou to find that player again.
By Laboured Go To PostHe has already delivered immediately in his first season. And even then he wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire with his 17 in almost 50 games. A goal every three games. Mbappbpbpe on the other hand..
I doubt he'll replicate that form under Mourinho
By Ciaran Go To PostDo you guys still want to give Martial a third season?Yeah. He wasn't Depay or Lingard shit.

Just underwhelming compared to his form last year.

Just playing devils advocate but would you say it was down to wenger to find the Ramsey from 13/14 season?

Mbappe plays up front in a better team than us and was used as a super sub a lot so he was using his pace v tiring defences. Martial was starting from the left wing for a turgid side and was often the only exciting presence in the team.
If 1 goal in 3 is the profile you're looking for then fair enough.
He's 21 now, and clearly doesn't belong in that very special tier of players, starting with his attitude.
Honestly I just hate his attitude so just ship him to Russia so I can laugh at him and Balotelli

1 in 3 from the wing is very good.
And you're primarily comparing him to the best youngster we've ever seen since Messi. Come on bb.

Tbh I havent been this excited about a player (Mbappe) since Michael Johnson.
But then look how Michael Johnson turned out...

Anyway I don't think he's worth all this effort, you're United and you're in a desperate situation, dump the cunt and buy Mpabbpe, Greaseman, Neymar, Dybello, Danny Welbeck and whoever the hell you want, because you can.
Let him develop at Zenit or CSKA Moscow and then we'll talk
Martial will get 20 next season.
Whether that's with us or not remains to be seen, but I hope he will be. :)

You Italians and your Siberian youth internment camps.
Coman got lucky.
Martial was 19 last season and "only" scored 5 less than Dybala, from the wing. The stats can be twisted whatever way. You have to judge the performance level at that age and the potential. Last year looked great, this year less so.
No point giving up on him yet because we don't need the money. He's talented so may aswell give him a bit longer, you don't grow teams by making knee jerk changes anytime a player slightly underperforms, especially when they're young.
His attitude on the pitch is concerning, though.

Dybala was double digits in assists too. You just get different kind of sensations when you watch players like him 😍🔥
He was on the bench for awhile too :( only really broke through after his volley against Milan if I'm not mistaken
I watched the game in a huge Italian sports bar last night
The pizza was being made by Napoli fans though....the oven had a gigantic crest on it
The cheers for Pipita mixed in with swearing was really something

He was also playing for Juve in Serie A while Martial was playing for a United team under LVG who had a phobia of shooting.

Not sure how he's doing with Bayern, but I was surprised how we let him go that easily
I suppose 35 million for a free transfer that was primarily a supersub was too good to pass..

Which in itself is a waste if Greaseman+Mbappe can sit on it.

No evidence of United growing anything so far, except an ingrown toenail called Martial.

sure. he's a good player. he just needs to quit playing like shit and get his real life in order. the latter would help with the former.
Re: Martial - second season slumps are not uncommon, we've seen what he is capable of, he is still very young. He is one of only 3 players in the squad who can actually beat his man. There is no need to lose our minds.
Martial was also double digits for assists last season I think. I think he's on something like 8+9 for G+A this year too which isn't terrible, but it has been a poor season no doubt.
By Ciaran Go To PostFair enough, but he's occupying a seat on the squad. Which in itself is a waste if Greaseman+Mbappe can sit on it.Yeah but considering the other culling that needs to happen, I'd say he's down on the list of players that need to be moved on, especially when there is still a chance he can go the other way. Even if we signed those two, Rooney and Zlatan are gone so he isn't holding anyone back.

Look at poor Francis there, thinking that football matters, when the only thing that really matters is football transfer rumours.
