AT WHAT COST?
Devils pact, we win Europa but literally have to buy an entire back 4 and strike force because not even science can rebuild the injuries they sustain along the way.

Probably Michael Owen's goal at the '98 World Cup, wasnt that interested in football back then, but that's probably my earliest memory. Dont think I watched the Euros but I remember us smashing Germany 5-1 in 2001 lol, what a time

By rvy Go To PostHe's just a hard man.I never understand the 'hard' part of the game, as I only experienced a few teams that played that way, and I responded in kind. Have to protect yourself. If I were a ref, I'd just send these fuckers off rapidly. Getting kicked in the side of the knee is not appreciated. Fucking cunts. That fucker thinks he's a pacificist. Holy shit.
You wouldn't understand.
Earliest soccer watching memory is my coach telling me to watch the United and Bayern CL final from start to finish because I was a moody little shit and quit towards the end of a game in 99. I was 8 to be fair

Like Robert Tilton.
Do I get him? No.
Will I watch him go on for 1 hour on YT?
Yes.
Earliest football memory was the 2002 World Cup with South Korea vs. Italy. Didn't much care about football until then lol.

By rvy Go To PostI don't understand it either, but they made VHS tapes out of it, so I'll watch them on YT.The beginning of That Damned United showed a great deal of cheap shots and punches. It was the opening. Best hard foul I've seen of late was on Gordon Ramsay, in a freaking charity event. Can't remember who did it, but it was pretty brutal. It's a bit like hockey when it is happening, keep your head on a swivel and watch out.

Was that the Brian Clough movie? I never watched that. I'd rather watch the real deal.

Well i dont think this thing ever hit my region cause ive never heard of it
By rvy Go To PostWas that the Brian Clough movie? I never watched that. I'd rather watch the real deal.My God, man. You have to watch it. It is so worth watching. It is the BEST football movie. There's not many, but this one was written by an excellent author. And the acting is incredible. Showed it to my Scot friend while he was over for a party, and we still participated in the party but he was mesmerized. It catches you right from the beginning. Brian Clough was an amazing personality. Clough and Leeds just didn't mix.
I remembered the Korea Italy match. Most people here definitely thought Italy lost fairly against South Korea.
It was only when I was older and decided to read an article on S. Korea constantly cheating in international sports that I learnt the truth.
They really are a country full of cunts. I think Shanks can attest to this.

And it is far better than that interview. The interview IS riveting. And of course, the interview is in the movie. Brian Clough, before my time as a truly active soccer fan, is one of the most amazing personalities in sport. I even watched the interview you posted again. The movie does him justice and it is the best football movie. Trust me.
