Also, Trippier represents another player under Pochettino to get his first England call up.

By Oddinho Go To PostCan someone explain why winning a tournament against a Dutch team is supposed to honor the victims of a terrorist attack? It's a nice gesture on the surface but things like this always remind me how cynical I am because my first instinct is that it feels opportunistic and phony to dedicate your win to dead victims who had nothing to do with football.
Donating time and money personally to the families and their efforts to honor the people who died is genuine and positive. If they want to show solidarity with the people of Manchester then that's a different thing, they're comforting people who are more shocked and afraid than anything approaching bereavement.
If I were a family member of the deceased, I wouldn't be comforted by the thought of a team of pampered multi-millionaires lifting a sporting trophy that they pursued in their own interests and then dedicating their win to my teenage daughter. I might think "thank you for caring when it's convenient for you, you can keep your win, I'll keep my grief."
That's because it is.
By Baconsaurus Go To PostCan we skip EL next year? This squad clearly isn't able to play more than 50 games a season. There were some Arsenal fans here commenting they expect Arsenal to walk through EL next season.
Expecting that much from you guys.
you took my posts seriously? 😂 I'm expecting us to let the kids play all the way to a round of 32 exit
I don't expect any team to walk Europa League. But I do expect a team like Manchester and even Arsenal to be one of the stronger favorites.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostThere were some Arsenal fans here commenting they expect Arsenal to walk through EL next season..
Hell fucking no. We will get reckt by a Chlamydia Krakow FC type in the group stages at least once.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostIt was pretty embarrassing that Mourinho was doing that whole three finger thing and calling it a great season. You know what. I love it. These are victories and they need to be properly counted. Sure they aren't the big big prizes. But it's better than going home empty handed.
Pls. 6th. Fucking 6th.
I expect Arsenal to win the EL, fuck anything else.
I don't care if I sound a cunt. I aint supporting some low level team. I will go into next season expecting us to win everything.
I don't care if it comes back to bite me. Arsenal should win the EL. Even being runner up will be a disappointment.

Didn't they rob us last year and two years before that too? Offside and onside goals rulled out galore
The refereeing is just poor all across the board

FA Cup final is going to be jokes. Two teams with the exact opposite present situation and future outlook.
By ReRixo Go To Postbayern v juve should have been the final tho
Why? We have the two best teams in the world this season.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostLooks good.
I wouldn't go so far as to say Bayern should definitely be there, but they were robbed of even having a fair chance really

I can't get over how funny the audio of the journalist getting slammed sounds. When I first saw the tweet I thought it would be a playground push, but the audio sounds pure WWF.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostNewcastle apparently are interested in William Carvalho. How's the nightlife in Newcastle?Tino Asprilla joined Newcastle when he was informed it was by the sea, and thought that meant beaches and bikinis.

Is it? I was arguing about this today at work. Is the destination more important the journey? This doesn't just apply to United, but United fans would have had to watch a lot of shit football this season. Was it worth it? I can't really answer that myself, but I do feel like I wouldn't trade decent football for some silverware, especially considering how much of my life I dedicate to this.

Still - three trophies. C'mon...it's two.

Also if it weren't for Madrid I'd be going to this final with one Juventino. Now it's a fully fledged party
That was always the best case scenario final for my friends
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostWhy? We have the two best teams in the world this season.real madrid are a level below juve and bayern imo
injuries, refs, bla bla bla. it's whatever, but for a finals of the CL I want to watch the best football possible. real madrid can't provide that.

I think Arsenal should go for William. Alexis Sanchez would probably stay at Arsenal if William was there, they could talk about their dogs and take Instagram photos of them.
By ReRixo Go To Postreal madrid are a level below juve and bayern imo
As much as I find everything anout RM scummy, you can't deny their level. Bayern have been pretty poor this season, Arsenal made them look good. Also, they wouldn't have gotten past AM.

Bit of both really. Spurs are great but in the end you're disappointed you don't win things because that's what football at the top level is about. If Spurs want to mix it consistently with the big boys they have to actually take that step, otherwise you're enjoying football week to week and that makes the shit results that stop it from culminating in glory even more painful.
I appreciate it's mad to judge the success of 99% of football clubs by the trophies they win, but Spurs have ambitions to be there. If they can't prove they'll win trophies, Poch and Kane and Alli will be off and you'll go back to not enjoying your football as much.
I'm on record here as saying football is about the moment, as Klopp would say. At no point since Fergie retired, including last night, have I felt more joy than when Evra turbocunted one in the top corner at the Allianz. That sticks with me more than a Community Shield does, and will do so more than last night's win will. But that moment is a shining sparkle of joy in a sea of cum. Spurs have a sea of delicious tasting cum without the shining sparkle of joy peaking out from its milky waves.
