By Andrew Go To PostLads, who do we replace Sanchez since it looks like he's leaving for Bayern?
Genuinely don't know who we could bring in.
Reckon you'll get someone like Fekir or someone of that sort of profile. Idk if he's been any good this season tho. Can't Wengy try and get Douglas Costa in return?

Interesting to see who takes over at Palace. Jason Burt reports that Marco Silva hasn't agreed to join Porto and is still considering his options, including staying in England.
Saints would be mad not to jump at him but apparently he's no longer on their shortlist of potential replacements.

Genuinely curious how much Arsenals business will be affected by no CL, can they afford to usurp that issue with huge wages? Would they even if they could? Only thing that saved United tbh.
Losing Alexis will be the same as Van Persie we won't be able to replace them like for like and get somebody in who can score that much we would need a couple of signings make up the goals.

Has he been any good this season? Was under the impression that he had a good half season for Bayern and has been disappointing since.

Actually a fair point. We had to massively bump our player wage structure to make up for not being able to offer CL football.

with arsenal it just looks like a general decline with no one on the board wanting to do anything about it

Somewhat fallen out of favour and struggled for game time. Seems like he might want out.

What da horse said.
By Plasma Go To PostNot that big a deal.
If only he owned a club that he could sell for a couple of billion.
They are desperate to get the Super Bowl to LA and will likely just push it back a year.
Costa's still being linked with Juve, Spurs and Liverpool. Arsenal will probably have to hope they go for other options to get him
Still think Arsenal have more pull than some are saying, even without CL. Like, in a straight fight I'd imagine quite a lot of players would choose Arsenal over Liverpool even where Liverpool has CL football.
Bigger issue will be Wenger shaped elephant in the room for anyone considering signing for the club. Some will love the idea of working for him but that's likely to be younger players. Older ones who want to win something soon might be turned off by the potential instability of him leaving in the next year or two.

you'll probably end up w/ Mahrez.

I don't think the lack of CL this season will impact their draw too much. The very best players won't be interested - but then Arsenal don't really have a chance of getting those players even if they're in the CL.

A reluctance to pay what it takes and the uncertainty with Wenger are the bigger issues for them.

There was a meeting between the player and Milan today (I think it was today) regarding De Sciglio's future at the club. I pray to Vishnu it went well.
In other rumoured news, Roma have allegedly chosen Di Francesco as their next manager. Should be a nice fit.

The truth is that Arsenal "CL draw" hasn't had much impact on our transfers. pretty sure people like Gabriel and Muhammad Elneny dont really have the ground to give a fuck about CL.

I dunno where DS3 is. I am convinced we have it on disc but dean said we had it digitally. I checked his downloads library and it isn't there. Well confused. Will play it one day.
I bought Injustice. Looked it up and it looks fun and there's some RPG elements too. Want a bit of a time sink.

By Laboured Go To PostBig Sam has basically just confirmed his retirement.Ah, man. England job must've broken his spirits. Only have himself to blame for that whole debacle - though I still feel a tad bit sad on his behalf considering nothing actually came of the revelations.
I'd say "good riddance" but he's such a character and in the end I can't help but like the man.
Will miss him.
Apart from the England job, he's been moving sideways the past decade or so. Maybe he's just fed up of the same old Big Sam cycle of stabilising struggling teams and then being binned for playing shit football.
Don't think he ever felt like a fit at Palace like he did at Sunderland and Bolton tbh.
Almost bought this instead. Maybe in summer.

Not too bothered tbh. He's been mediocre for a while now. Barely shown any growth since his debut and has looked disinterested for most of this season.
That said, I fully expect him to suddenly become world class once he wears black and white. Cunt.
How many shots of starbucks espresso is too much? I bought a venti americano with an extra shot because I'm wrecked and haven't done enough coursework and the baristas scoffed at me. Never drank coffee.
