By n8 dogg Go To PostThink fourth for Pool is pretty great considering the financial power of Chelsea, City, United and then Arsenal's usual shit. Spurs have had an extraordinary season and it's such a shame they yet again have nothing to show for it. You could still argue we will have had a better season than anyone but Chelsea if we win on Wed.We added extra seats and gonna get that CL money. Our ownership will invest in the club with new players. You make money on the appreciation of the worth of the team and not so much annual profit/loss. Now we see if we can raid the Brasilian and German leagues successfully.
On another note, I'd be okay with playing WITH a cunt like Diego Costas. Never have, but the way he gets in the other team's heads, I'd like that. As a player, I'd always have polite conversations with the other players. Only a few heated moments, but shook hands at the end of the game. Would have been nice to have a cunt, even if it meant getting kicked in the ankles or worse. Hope this Chinese league goes bankrupt.
Wonder if finishing 5th will prompt Wenger to throw caution to the wind and go for it with transfers. Could see it being a few years in mid table for Arsenal if they don't
Reckon Coutinho is on the cusp of being good enough for Barca btw
Think if he went there this summer it'd be a year too early. For a start he needs to nail down a position outside of the front 3, as he obviously wouldn't get ahead of Messi, Suarez or Neymar.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman: "It wasn't good enough. We saw today what we need for the next season. We need more productivity out of possession. That's the difference between us and Arsenal. We did everything to win the game but we had to score in the first half. It was a long time 11 v 10 and a penalty isn't enough."
On Ross Barkley: "He was one of the players who didn't show productivity today. Overall it's not about one player, but I understand why you asked about him. That's what we need to change. We need to find players with more productivity."
How many players does he need next season? "I know everything, that's not for you. The board will back me. We want more quality in. That's what they will support."
n8, pls. You know what to do. #KoemanOut

hate it
just wanna enjoy football. i did today. play them all next year. sell everyone but mitchell.
Is Van Dijk worth the numbers being quoted? Apparently he is our first choice target for that position...
Arsene says the total (points) is decent, unfortunate to lose out by one point, they were remarkable today, the group has to stay together and they will win the championship. Red card was harsh. Gabriel out most likely.
Wouldn't be happy if we blew a lot of money on a new keeper. Mignolet hasn't put a foot wrong since that Hull goal. If we don't trust Karius, replace him. Bigger issues in the team than replacing Mignolet at the moment though if we can't find no-brainer bargain.

Some very good achievements in coaching this year I think.
Conte, Pochettino, Silva, Dyche, Pulis, Howe, Allardyce and Clement all (to varying degrees) showing that managers do matter. Not to mention Klopp, Mourinho and Guardiola, who have all had their moments.

Did Pedro really call his child Kyle? Guess I shouldn't be surprised, that even he wants his kid to grow up and be as cool as Kyle Lafferty
By Hitch Go To PostReckon Coutinho is on the cusp of being good enough for Barca btwHe's good enough for Barca for sure. Just needs to be more reliable. Just glad our club tells other PL clubs to fuck off. Suarez to Arsenal? Fuck off. Suarez to Barca? The player's head is turned and just give us some money.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostIs Van Dijk worth the numbers being quoted? Apparently he is our first choice target for that position…For us, I don't think he would be. Not seen enough from him season-on-season to come to the conclusion that he definitely wouldn't end up looking as exposed as every CB we've had in the last 4 years or so. And £50m can go a long way to improving multiple positions instead of just one.
Plus he's missed 17 games this season, which has to be a concern even if its one bad injury. Would like us to focus on players who have good injury records tbh.
By OneTwoTee Go To PostCeltic winning the SPL by 30 points is ridiculousThink they beat the points, wins and goals scored records.
What a fucking shit league
Having got himself somewhat back on the map, anything else Rodgers achieves there frankly seems like a bit of a waste of time. Still think he could be a very good manager, but its impossible to prove that in Scotland when you're already managing Celtic, unless he can perform miracles in Europe.
Ok now to Real vs Malaga.
A part of me is hoping Real wins this one. Has been far more deserving than Barca, with a much better team overall to boot.
Then again it will be hilarious if you guys lose, so I'm torn.

Awful season even if we win the FA Cup.
Summer could be really depressing if Sanchez & Ozil force themselves out.
