Martial played the wing all of last season. He did better under LVG because it was a very mechanical team that hogged possession and pushed the lines up high, so he was getting the ball on the edge of the box 90% of the time. He's a good dribbler and didn't have many defensive responsibilities. Mou's system is different and has failed adapt and is mentally weak, so he has not adjusted his game.

I kinda want Lucas to stay cos of his experience and he's a decent squad player, but I view him as a curse because we've only won one trophy in his 10 years and he was injured for it.

Season review
Would have taken 4th in July. Bit disappointing after we were so good in the first half of the season. Not good enough in the cups. Need numbers and a few upgrades. Excited to see more of Mane and Coutinho especially next season.
Hopefully a stepping stone to better things.
