He looks like the typical loser going alone to a swinger club. Cipollini was the true cool guy.

Just Pulisic taking the wing, which is for the better.
Durm with a horrible performance. Still Bartra, Sokratis, Ginter as back 3.
Hamburg are dominating now. Just a matter of time before American legend Bobby Wood does it.
Dont tell me you didnt feel some relief watching that pop out.

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostDo you have to climb a tall skyscraper near the north of the map? If so you're halfway through the story.Nice. I just completed the part where you go to the base in the mountain, the one with the Metal Devil.
Love the game too. That, Nier Automata and Zelda has been some of the best games I've played.
By Ciaran Go To PostNier was excellent but it had an obscene amount of negligible flaws that by the end they DO add up :lolWhat a time to be a gamer. I honestly don't remember a time where there were so many games I wanted to play out at the same time. There's enough to fill my yearly quota already and then some. I'll get to most of them, eventually. Assolutamente sensazionale.
I just can't imagine Zabo going through that second playthrough with his mind intact. Actually just imagining him playing it multiple times is cracking me up
Nioh Bizarre Adventure has basically the exact same 'problems' but I guess it resonated with me more
I finished one palace in Persona 5, and while I absolutely loved it, I doubt I'm going back to it any time soon. It's time consuming (!!!!!!OEJSLD:cnlzclxn) and yeah…you know what I hate about it
Ringed City the GOTY. I still can't get over how good it was
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostWhat do you think of the world-building and story so far?You know, I wasn't in love with it at the beginning, quite the contrary, but it really grew on me the more I roamed the world and discovered the various lore / story tidbits. I guess I was half-expecting another The Witcher 3 in terms of memorable non-playing characters & sheer monologue depth & choice and was a bit disappointed when I discovered that Horizon is more of a straightforward action adventure than an rpg in that aspect. But once I readjusted my expectations and kept playing ... yeah, it's been pretty fucking great. I love me a good post-apocalyptic mystery and the game is delivering. I love how you get the general idea of the events that led to the catastrophe fairly early, but there's enough missing pieces to keep you intrigued. Looking forward to seeing where it all leads. Who would've thought Guerilla had it in them, eh?
I might check out Horizon now. Haven't bought any new games since BF1 so Zelda, Nier, For Honour are in my sights.
I'm up for a new game but its gotta have replay value, so most likely a really good MP mode. What game is that? I own RL already.
Speaking on Zelda, how's CEMU looking these days? Haven't checked on it in a month or so. Still not ready for prime time, I reckon?
Horizon's great. It was a pity it was released so close to Zelda so people kept comparing them both.
Both are great games. I know some worry about the Ubisoft towers and the like but to be honest, there are just a few of those, and fun enough to not make it a chore.

Keep going, it gets better, the writing staff smashed it out of the park.
And no, I couldn't believe Guerilla Games did this, even though its an 89 on MC, I came to the sensible conclusion that Horizon is more imaginative than anything Naughty Dog has ever put out. I wouldn't say it on gaf though, might cop a ban.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostHorizon's great. It was a pity it was released so close to Zelda so people kept comparing them both. There's some of that in Horizon, like enemy camps and corruption zones, but a) it's skippable content and b) the brilliant combat makes these trivial activities funner than they have a right to be. And this is coming from someone who absolutely hates that shit in games.

No idea how Zelda's like in that regard, I've been purposely keeping myself in the dark.

By Bold 2 in One Go To PostKeep going, it gets better, the writing staff smashed it out of the park.Between the visual storytelling, which I think is incredible, the Vantage Points stuff and some of the later audio recordings and logs ... I'm really, really, REALLY feeling it. There's a real, palpable sense of sadness, loss and tragedy about it. Different type of game, different everything, but it really reminds me of the way I felt while playing System Shock 2. Just my kind of jam, I guess.

Also, SC may be a scam, but them visuals ... If nothing else, Squadron 42 should be a cinematic masterpiece.
I was quite disappointed in the end with Horizon because it had the potential to be truly great and was merely very good.
An Ubisoft-esque open world forumula with, for the most part, an uncompelling cast of characters & quests.
Combat, graphics, and general core design (world building, dinosaurs, etc) were fantastic though.

I didn't like getting somewhere and there being like 20 audio logs for me to stand in one place and listen to as well.
That happened multiple times.

How do they manage to do it, year after year?
Flabbergasting team. Secretly the strongest club in the Bundesliga.
Wolfsburg "down" (relegation play-off). Andries Jonker isn't cut out to be manager.

The first step this season towards survival, was to throw Djourou the fuck out. He is not even allowed to train with the team anymore, just been told to stay away. :lol
By Andrew Go To PostI was quite disappointed in the end with Horizon because it had the potential to be truly great and was merely very good.I think audio-logs are a good way choice for a game where all the crazy shit has already happened, they are popular for a reason, its a good way of laying down lore and world building without too much exposition and cutscene after cutscene. When you take in the world they built, the graphical fidelity, the engaging and story and combat and the fact that this was GG's first attempt at a whole new genre.

I can't help but give mad props, could it be better? absolutely, but that applies to every game. so far my GOTY.

5.3 billion years since brondby won the league?????
Audio logs are fine, if you can walk around the same time listening to them. Being frozen in place to listen to them is terrible.

Even not being able to read that, I've no idea how you ever got 5.3 out of that.
It's a clock showing how long HSV have stayed in the bundesliga. Which is since it was create, which no other club has.
Thank God, Dortmund ended up in 3rd. Rather have the possibility of facing Hoffenheim than them.
Final game of the season for Bayern and Renato Sanches doesn't leave the bench.
He has to be leaving in the summer.

It's worse than that Wooden.
You can walk around but doing so sometimes triggers Aloy to start talking over the audio log, so you end up missing it and whatever she was going to say(!).

What an absolute bellend.
What an absolute bellend.
Judge Nigel Gerald dismissed the claim, saying Dave Dawes did not need to keep “bailing out his profligate son”. He said: “There was no basis on which any rational or normal human being could conclude that they could go back for more money whenever they wanted.”
Michael Dawes was given £1m by his father and stepmother soon after their win, but the judge said nearly all of it had been spent within a month.
About £550,000 was spent on a house in Portsmouth, where Michael lived, but he also gave nearly £250,000 to friends and his partner’s family, and quit a well-paid IT job.
At one point, the pair were spending up to £30,000 a month, including £1,000 a week on groceries. The judge compared their lifestyle to “some sort of Walter Mitty existence”

Firewatch did that all the fucking time and in a game that's only about walking and talking it ruins whatever little it has going for it.
Shit game.
