That Drogba video is great, Disso. What a match.
Awesome dude. I have listened to My Woman a lot, very good album.

Looks like Liverpool is finally getting a real left back in the Summer. Milner provided decent service, but he's out of position. And Moreno is a disaster. No brain at all. I may finally be able to change my tag. Will probably go to striker. Although I still think Firmino can grow into it. Sturridge would be amazing if he could stay healthy. But that will never happen.

My "dear" housemates arrived home at 6:30 and decided it was a good time to discuss the incidents of their night out in the kitchen that's right next to my bedroom.
So I've been wide awake now for over an 1h thanks to them.
Hoping this Argentina x England U20 WC match will bore me enough to make me fall asleep.
Edit: England being completely dominated by Argentina (who already hit the post) and out of nowhere they pull a goal.
Argentina have been far better but England leads 1-0.

Just had a wisdom tooth out. Man had to drill it into 3 parts.
What a time to have a mouth as numb as suen's arsehole.

Coutinho's productivity fell off a cliff for a good 3 months as well, across his injury and poor form when he came back. Lack of a proper striker really bit us in the arse from January to March. Before and after that we've been propped up somewhat by getting a decent amount of goals from everyone, but when that stopped we needed someone who could just pop up with a goal out of nowhere.
Everton's goalscoring list is crazy, Barkley is second with 5 goals.
@Yen, I realised that when watching a Kuyt compilation a few months ago lol
So many sitters, rebounds, mishits, clear chances simply smashed in, routine finishes. The only two of real individual quality that come to mind are the one against Chelsea where he nods it past the unbalanced defender and sidefoot volleys it past Cech, and the thunderbastard against West Ham.
Thinking about it though, I don't remember him as being wasteful with his chances, so maybe he only really ever shot when a goal was clearly on the cards. That would make sense for Kuyt, who very obviously knew exactly what his weaknesses were.

By domino Go To PostThe kid has the ability, but I still think he lacks a motor. He's not a player that is going to make things happen. So he's more like an Iniesta type player rather than a Messi (don't mistake this as saying he has their potential). He's still so young so I would rather not compare him to those players, but I think that's the perfect way to describe the motor that Messi has compared to other similarly technical players. Angel's technique is really amazing apart from maybe controlling a ball that comes from a great height. In that sense he can still improve. He can split a defense with a pass and pop up with goals either from the outside or in the box. I think once he develops that motor he'll be a player to watch out for. Until then, he'll be quiet I think. I hope people don't hype him up too much as they'll end up disappointed.
this kid looks the business.

Let's talk about players who were legitimately better when they were teenagers than they were/have been at any other point in their career. Not just failing to fulfil their potential, but actually declining before they're 22 years old or so
I'll start us off with Wilshere and Barkley. Wilshere has obviously been done in by injuries and never nailing down a specific position in midfield, being somewhat shunted around. Seriously think he'd be brilliant by now if he'd stayed fit and played every game next to a DM and behind the attack, basically where Cazorla plays. Passing ability, small burst of pace and ability to feint past a lone opponent made him ideal for that position.
Barkley on the other hand seems to constantly suffer from crises of confidence, which are added to the fact that he doesn't seem any positionally smarter or more careful on the ball than he was when he broke through. Basically too stupid to play deep, and his end product and touch are too inconsistent to play further ahead and have everything go through him.
Shame, as they were both a joy to watch. Even as a Liverpool fan, they were so promising it was hard not to enjoy their performances and promise. Would have been good for England as well. Ah well.
Judging from what SerieASlaent say about Berardi, he's on the cusp of this category

He could have been, if lived up to expectation IMO as a solid Prem player on a mid to low table team not a superstar. Dempsey seems like an apt comparison for output.
Apparently if you get travel insurance for a few quid from compare the market you can get two for one cinema tickets for a year
Last photo I have of one of my old dogs. From 2005,
pity the pic is crinkled so much :/ His name was Mocha.

Nike is sponsoring Gelson Martins and paying him 200K a year, more than twice what they normally pay to their sponsored players in the Portuguese League.
He will be moved to 500k if he transfers to an elite club.

I kinda believe in Mou. What we lack is mostly finishing this season. He improved Rojo and Valencia, players who we thought were unsalvageable. Also Herrera shined.
But then again, my brothers at Reddit has gone to the deeper end.

Valencia's always been solid. Just unable to cross which is horrific for a winger lol
Valencia is 'solid' and was before Mou got there. Rojo though, holy shit, never thought we'd miss him getting hurt. Wonder how he responds back from the injury, can't seem him returning to form.
