By Laboured Go To Postis this a joke?
By Laboured Go To PostThat is hilarious. He is probably the worst player out of the top six clubs, completely garbage. Seems to have nicked a living because he does whatever the manager tells him to do.

He's just a dummy runner, someone who causes trouble with his speed giving time for other players to get in a better goalscoring position. Doesn't seem to work much though, given how crap his crosses has been.
Anyway, is it just me or has KdB been particularly underwhelming these past couple of months. Seems like a shadow of his former self.

Cornelius to Atalanta confirmed. I guess at least I have a team to root for in Serie a next season then. Hope he does well, and think he might just actually do that. His style should be good for serie a.

And Lamine Kone didn't look like he would rather be anywhere else than next to Billy Jones.

probably passed the cone off to someone and spat the chip out after the photo.
is Sanches definitely on the way out at Bayern? seems to me like he's exactly the type of player we should be targeting. would slot in perfectly in our midfield and get the playing time he needs
would never happen though. more likely he'll just move to another big club where he won't get minutes. has Wenger ever bought a portuguese player before?

They will probably give him one more year or loan him to another Bundesliga season.

One of Wenger's first signings was Portuguese, Luis Boa Morte.
Got a ticket to see Logan Noir on the 16th. Really loved the film so excited to see this version. Mangold is doing a Live Q&A afterwards which will be streamed to our theater. I still have not seen the black and chrome (or whatever it's called) Mad Max version.
By Laboured Go To PostWas definitely expecting this once he looked decent at RB. Fuming over it, but not surprised. As long as we get Walker or someone who is legitimately worthy of first choice, I guess I'll just have to accept it.
Navas is worth getting rid of if only to start shedding some of the players from the pre-Guardiola era who have caused the club to stagnate somewhat. Even the ones who are decent I could perfectly understand Guardiola selling. Kompany, Aguero, Toure, Navas, Fernandinho, Fernando, Zabaleta, Clichy, Hart, Caballero, Kolarov, Sagna. Give Pep carte blanche, and I reckon they'd all be gone by the start of 2018/19
And yes, I know that some people rate Fernandinho a lot more than I do. Silva should definitely be kept, and it'd be harsh to push Aguero out of the club but Jesus is clearly going to usurp him imminently.
Having said that, if you're asking that Txiki dipshit to replace those players, it'd be pointless.

Boa Morte, that Rui Fonte kid that used to be in our youth system and....Robert Pires kinda?

Give Pep carte blanche, and I reckon they'd all be gone by the start of 2018/19Well, the rumor is that Clichy, Zaba and Sagna are not being offered new contracts. I'd be more than happy to get rid of Fernando as well as he doesn't offer anything special and we need better CMs in general. Seems like all the senior guys on loan other than Denayer (Nasri, Mangala, Hart, Bony, etc.) have no future with City. I wouldn't be surprised if Yaya got a new contract offer.
And yes, I know that some people rate Fernandinho a lot more than I do.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostI think Pep has seen what's happened with Valencia at United and is trying to copy them.Navas is just one of those guys who I guess coaches absolutely love because they work their ass off and run themselves into the ground. Apparently that can be enough to stay in good graces.

there's a goalkeeper in our academy called Joao Virginia who we signed from benfica youth. he's pretty good.
It's cheaper to extend contracts than it is to buy new players. don't know much about the internal politics at City, but I imagine they're interested in transitioning towards a more sustainable Chelsea model rather than completely reinventing their squad every three years.
the core is old and deteriorating, and the team has been poor at developing young talent so far. will be interesting to see what positions City chooses to reinforce in the summer. not going to make much money selling off a bunch of old cast-offs.

Coventry City have announced they will be releasing nine players at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
Nathan Clarke, Kevin Foley, Vladimir Gadzhev, Andy Rose, Ruben Lameiras and Marcus Tudgay will all be released following the expiry of their contracts.
The club will also not be renewing the contracts of Kyle Spence, Jack Finch and Jacob Whitmore from the Under-23 squad.
We only have 5 non-academy products under contract to play next season.

@laboured: the GOAT tv reviewer Sepinwall liked leftovers S1 a lot more than others but agrees its very flawed. Says S2 is up there on the Rushmore of TV seasons. From everything I've read, seems the closest thing to Twin Peaks.
Re: Mou's social media ban, seems counter productive and a way of proportioning blame for shit results to something completely ineffectual.

Sometimes I feel well guilty for moaning that we won't buy seven 50m players next season
But then i remember that all your youth are still better than rooney
