The fact that someone figured out how many via their source code is LOL. That website is built by his teenage kid I bet.
$290,000 in first week sales isn't bad depending on how much was put up front to make the shoes. Hell if they are made to order they might of made a cool $100 - $150 in revenue. The problem is they got to make at least the amount that was on the table by shoemakers. I think it was an initial deal of about 10 million over 5 years which would of been guaranteed.......
So its not really LOL worthy yet Lavar could still come out of this thing looking like a genius is Lonzo plays well and they maintain even half of those sales a week.

By reilo Go To PostIt is awful cause sales are front loaded.
So they are in the hole...... That isn't a good look at all. They can still come out on top but jeez they better hope Lonzo is the second coming of Kidd early.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIts awful until he beats the money Nike had on the table.
I will give the benefit of them just being on track to. I still think this whole thing was created to pull a 90's rapper clothing hustle where the majors eventually pay Lavar off to absorb the company.
Top 5 picks especially guards get a 7 figure deal PER YEAR even if their name isn't Lebron. Ball would especially get a good deal cause he already has name recognition. Fultz gonna be selling more shoes than him anyway.
By DY_nasty Go To PostI doubt that.
Exum kinda fucked the game up
I think Jordan brand just gave a Chinese league rookie player 1.5 a year for 5 years.....
Conservatively, they sold maybe 600 pairs, half of those have to be from people and outlets who just want to joke on them or showoff because it's a hot topic right now in sports.
So let's say somehow there are a few hundred people legitimately walking around wearing these things. Those are terrible company closing numbers long term if things don't pick way the fuck up. Expect more shenanigans out of the father to draw attention too.
Apparel sales are a nightmare. There's so much initial investment for inventory to get the best prices that they're likely sitting on a warehouse full of these fucking things.

By Kibner Go To PostI wonder if the tree is a tribute to his Minnesota days?Oregon. That's a pine tree.
By reilo Go To PostOregon. That's a pine tree.Pine trees are everywhere, tbh, but good call on Oregon. Did not know he spent time there growing up.
Grew up in Lake Oswego since he was 5 and played High School basketball here. People keep associating him with California because his uncle is a beach boy, but beyond the 1 year at UCLA, he's spent most of his life in Oregon.

We should convert this to a general sneaker thread. Like I would love to post my rare airs collection
Durant new colorways out today. I like almost every color they've released so far. These are really nice comfortable sneakers.
Nike Flyknit Racer also out today. These are also pretty slick. Unisex.

Those are actually dope.
Do people actually want this to be a shoe thread? I can rename it. The last one was a basketball specific one, iirc.

I have a mild sneaker addiction
I have several variations of the Nike Internationalist. Definitely my go-to.
Was gonna get the black or gray, but glad I went outside my comfort zone with these:
Definitely the most comfortable sneakers I own. Amazing in cold weather.

My name is pilonv1 and I have a Boost addiction
I have bought 4 pairs of Boost shoes in 4 months - Pureboost 3.0, Ultraboost uncaged, Supernova Sequence 8 and Crazylight Boost 2016 Lows for hoops. Everything else I wear now feels like trash after the Ultraboosts. Curry 2s feel like walking on cement slabs after the Crazylights.
Now they have this coming
help pls

Just got on the Adidas train with some NMD's and they are comfortable as fuck and everyone says the Ultraboosts are the most comfortable. So I've been looking at getting some UB's
These lookin nice:
I'd almost advise NOT getting ultra boosts because they're so incredible. The uncaged are just so comfortable.
Not sure if it really qualifies as a sneaker, but I really like Merrell barefoot shoes:
What makes their barefoot shoes so great is that it looks like a fucking normal-ass shoe. It just also happens to have no support and extremely light weight and flexible (you can easily ball them up). I choose to walk around without shoes anytime I can and these let me do so on concrete and on other surfaces that would tear up my feet.
I also bought another pair of their shoes that is business casual because I had heard they are very comfortable and I was on my feet a lot at the time. Ended up nearly eliminating lower back pain I had every time I laid down for bed.

By pilonv1 Go To PostAlso should this get moved to life?Good call.
Kibner, won't you have the same problems as Vibrams??
By reilo Go To PostGood call. What problems are those? I don't wear them when I will be walking on concrete for multiple hours so maybe I avoid whatever issues they have? I wear something with actual cushioning for those occasions. These are more than fine for four hours of city walking a day.

I generally walk barefoot anytime my feet are not at risk of getting hurt, so maybe my body is already used to that and any issues they have might not be a problem for me? I wouldn't recommend barefoot shoes for people that need arch support or want to play sports on hard surfaces (i.e. not grass).

$50 Roshe two's and the colors aren't offensive. Had to cop a pair of GP
Whole site is on sale though.
