Is this a good place to ask about footwear in general and get recs? I'm trying to up my overall shoe game. I have a pair of white Vans ComfyCush and the classic Vans slip-ons that need to be replaced, but otherwise I'm pretty much out of shoes. I've been looking at Cole Haan for some new sneakers, but if I'm gonna pay $130+ I might as well just go with Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour, no? The reviews of Cole Haan shoes have left me kind of wary about buying from them.

What do you want out of the shoes? Just something stylish?

For the boots, definitely just for style at work and on dates (brown goes with pretty much everything, right?). For the sneakers, I need something durable and stylish. I like the colors on all the sneakers I linked. I walk my dogs ~5-8 miles a day, and it's only a matter of time until my current shoes have sole holes.

I’m happy we don’t have a formal wear culture at work. Wearing my Patta Air Max and Jordan’s most days of the week at the office.

Looking at some of the 1s that are suppose to drop this year and I think I am gonna be spending a lot of money.

Lucky Brand near me is having 80% off storewide, copped some nice jeans and a couple henleys for $60 total. Very happy with that. Next step is a nice jacket or coat (all I have is a Lulu rain jacket, which is nice, but not enough during the winter here), followed by some boots. Any suggestions for the jacket?

I like that darker shade of Brown.

Can tell you from experience that darker shade of brown will also fade with wear and turn into a nice medium brown that looks really warm

Depends on what kind of winter you have + how much you want to spend tbh.
You can go for a clean parka style merinowool coat but if it's rainy a lot, I would just go for something more technical with Goretex.
