Honestly can't remember the last time I read something from ESPN that wasn't part of their Long Form/Mag writing, aside from the weekly Zach Lowe columns.

And they just cut like a third of the people who regularly contribute to that kind of content. Stuff like this is what ESPN does best imo:

If he brings Mannix and Bobby Marks with him to ESPN that will improve their coverage from where it is now imo.

Chad Ford? Probably never. Stein has broken a few big things over the last few years i think.

Woj blots out the sun with NBA news coverage though. At least in the NFL you have a few guys competing with Schefter.

In the NBA it's just some (still really good reporters) trying to pick up table scraps from Woj.

Well, yes. On a tangent, but I have a vision of this site where users can take a post (e.g. any of the fantastic movie or game reviews some of you wrote) and tag them into user profile as their own blog page, where if anyone quotes said post it shows up as a comment in both the Film thread and the user's blog post. The infrastructure is there, but I just don't think we have a big enough of a userbase to take advantage of something like that for me to start building that out.
