Times are tough but I guess in the end I still am. I tell myself that it might be over soon, so I can cope better with a breakup. But where is the sense in life when you keep telling yourself that it might be over soon? It would be better to think that everything might get better soon. But I dont believe that.

Yeah, for 10 years now.
Allthough there has been one pretty rough year when her father died, which was pretty hard to cope with for her and for me as well, as he was one of my best friends.

Some of you know what I've been throught he last year in terms of going through a divorce and a move across country to be with my daughter. I was in a relationship for eight years which really wasn't good. I wasn't happy for most of it. We were so different in almost every way. Well, when I arrived in Atlanta last year, I met a woman who quickly became my best friend. We've been together for the last year and I couldn't be happier. Living together for quite some time and it's amazing.

We have the same interests. She is a huge sports nut, as big as I am. I remember when she moved in and the first few times I'd come home from work and see her watching ESPN or a game. Waking up in the morning and seeing her on Grantland. Her ideal Sunday? Go to a sports bar, eat, drink beer, and watch football all day. We're both politcal nuts, etc. It really means the world when the person you're dating is also your best friend.
