Got 2 directions I can go in as far as I can tell
1) Ladder near Iosefka's Clinic2) Area from the lift by the lantern in the Forbidden Woods
Don't think there's anything left in the poison cave, unless you get any good drops from the enemies I avoided.

Bloodborne really does get easier as it goes on, so it seems. Can flat out ignore mechanics on the last two bosses I fought. wtf. Only BSB and Amelia have given me any real trouble and they took 4 attempts each... People give a lot of shit to Dark Souls 2 but I thought the bosses in that were AT LEAST no less interesting than Bloodborne so far. Everyone kept complaining that the bosses were just "circle strafe, ???, win" but Bloodborne's equivalent seems to be "dodge forward, ???, win"
Latest area had me building up frenzy for seemingly no reason. Fun. Maybe I will go back and do some more optional areas first.

just a case of quality > quantity. Even the Four Old Ones were uninspired..

Killed the woman in Iosefka's Clinic, hope that doesn't fuck me over
Old woman in Cathedral Ward has disappeared
Can go through Byrgenwerth
Can use the Tonsil Stone or whatever its called
Can explore Hypogean Gaol
Eileen has disappeared. She said something about going below the Tomb of Oedon, but I can't find any way down there as yet
Don't know what to do first

and Zazo and his twitchy Slovakian fingers MURDERED HER ;_; what a day to be not-Elieen
I don't think it's glitched, go in the middle and look for the hunter she's hunting, she'll arrive afterwards.
regarding Iosefka you'll be fine as long as you've sent the hooker to the Cathedral Ward. Because one of those will give you a pretty important item later on, and you've already killed one way before you should :p
Killing the boss in Gaol will make the hunter with the machince gun friendly to you, assuming he's still alive! Anyway, just make sure you open up all the doors there before you leave, and just come back for the boss way later when you level up a bit. Oh and the hunter fighting Elieen drops some nice Bolt-resistance gear to counter this boss...heh
Old woman is useless.
Byrgenwerth's boss is your deadline for finding all the NPCS, or they'll disappear. I'd say most of them are useless except for Elieen and the whore.
But Eileen warned me not to go there :(
Quest line is dead for me, apparently if you go to the Forbidden Woods first it just ends the quest

By Hitch Go To PostBut Eileen warned me not to go there :(nah, it isn't, but you'll get a bad resolution for it after you finish Byrgenwerth. I strongly recommend you go outta your way to do it in your next run because it leads to THE coolest moment* in the game imo.

it's a real shame if you don't get to experience it with Skill weapons too. The whip and daggers are really something else <3
Haven't beat the final boss yet - almost got it on the first go but died and had to leave for work - , but just reiterating that I'm real glad I pressed through that first two or three hours because Bloodborne genuinely is one of my favourite games of all time. I love the world, the lore, the shifts in tone, the gameplay, the soundtrack, and the majority of the bosses. Just superb.
For those who have finished it, what stands out as favourite moments in the game? Favourite bosses? Cut scenes? Areas?
My boss ranking would be (based on challenge, surrounding area/environment, enjoyability, music, atmosphere etc.):
Martyr Logarius
Shadow of Yharnam
Blood-starved Beast
Father Gascoigne
Witch of Hemwick
Mergo's Wet Nurse
Gehrman
Micolash
Darkbeast Paarl
Cleric Beast
Rom
Amygdala
The One Reborn
Vicar Amelia
Moon Presence
Ebrietas
Celestial Emissary
And I think in general, from Cathedral Ward onwards, the game just had me. Slowly working out what was going on, the reveal of the aliens in the woods and then the Amygdala above your head. I think I enjoyed actually playing the game more up until that point than I did after - more of a challenge - , the locales after and where the story went was just brilliant.
I didn't think everything worked - I needed a guide at times because some things were far too vague, things which I would have missed and therefore would have annoyed me. The boss Moon Presence is disappointing in terms of both its difficulty and the lack of explanation in terms of the story; while a lot is left vague but can be worked out by reading item descriptions and notes, I thought that was a tad out of left field and would like to know more.
Really looking forward to DLC.

Main points of UPDATE 1.03

@Nathan
my boss list ended up being WAAY too similar to yours, so I'll try something different with mine and rank them up based on a different criteria! My emotions/hype levels when I first faced them :p
Grand Cathedral mini-boss encounter:
That build up MAN! The lantern is broken, Eileen half dead outside…well fuck, I wonder what's inside….and then it was just a mere ex-hunter turned Vileblood wearing a Cainhurst helm, wielding a blood-coated Katana.
Martyr Logarius: so while going through the castle I noticed the Executioners corpses all over the place, and I was wondering if they actually succeeded in purging the vilebloods or were they utterly decimated by whatever is waiting for me up there. Wait…what's that in the distance…is that a throne on the rooftop of this castle? Whats it doing over there. WHAT?! Martyr Logarius?! Martyr?? That can't be…..isn't that the leader of the Executioners. LOL ALFRED! And where's the Queen?? But then it all comes together after you kill him….what a man, what a leader. And what a queen, I pledge myself to thee
Father Gascoigne: a fair duel that escalated quickly into Barca vs United 2011. STAHP! ONE SECOND, BREATHER..
Blood-starved Beast: I knew I was gonna bite the dust the moment I saw him walking up slowly to me in the distance and then, in a blink of an eye, he was running circles around me. And dat flappy poisoned vagina
Shadow of Yharnam: Loved it for that LOTR entrance alone, it got my blood pumping. And seeing THREE of them jump on me was so awesome. THIS DICK AINT FOR FREE! *turns his cane into a whip*
Gehrman: LOOOOL….SIT THE FUCK DOWN OLD MAN *4 seconds later* …OKAY, maybe I'm the one who should be in a wheelchair. The set up was sublime, with the dream burning down and everything.
Moon Presence: so we meet at last, you Palecunt. YOU'RE NO GOD OF MINE
Mergo's Wet Nurse: Seeing the queen crying outside with blood all over her dress, and her baby being protected by an ungodly creature. I fell in love with that boss fight the moment it engulfed the whole area with darkness. So fucking terrifying and cool.
Vicar Amelia: I loved it, and the way she holds on to that Gold Pendant is such a nice touch
Amygdala: bit disappointed in this fight since I was looking forward to fighting HIM of all bosses the most, even before the game was released :p but his design is easily the coolest and most disturbing in the game imo
Micolash: purely for who he was in the lore, his maniacal laughter, Arcane abuse and the fact that he's seemingly unaware that he's dead in the real world (we used his corpse to teleport into this nightmare)
Ebrietas: I was in awe fighting it (and playing through that whole fucked up level). And the fact that I thought her ass was her face made it even better lol. But then she turned around and I muttered "…..fuck."
The One Reborn: the corpses splattered all around the city, the quite fucked up stitched up mobs, you just KNEW the boss is going to be something equally as fucked up. And then THE SUMMONING SCENE. SO HYPE. And then the room with the dead followers and their master tied up to a chair, just brilliant.
Darkbeast Paarl: he was too beautiful to die :( I loved how he runs away to recharge his batteries, and his puppy demeanor in general made him a bit endearing and made me feel a little bad killing him
Witch of Hemwick: I liked this fight at first and it could've been higher, but the fact that you encounter so many witches like her later on kinda kills her importance. Finding the tied up hunter though. Chills
Celestial Emissary is undoubtedly the worst, with the Cleric Beast and Rom close seconds. The way you leap into the water to his dimension was HYPE though and one of the best moments in the game. And when the blood moon descends and you collapse on your knees
But in all honesty, it was really hard ranking them because I loved them all almost equally, and if you ask me this question tomorrow my answers would be different
the worst 3 will always be the same

Not really considering that NPCs in these games turn hostile at the drop of a hat. Without knowing beforehand, there is nothing to suggest that avoiding the tomb will turn her hostile rather than keeping her friendly later on

I've watched all three and I know what happened, just felt it was out of left field instead of actually making sense. Didn't like the last boss and didn't understand why that ending happens. Other two endings are better, even if they're not as cool conceptually.

Getting Platin was way easier in BB compared to the other Soul games. I hope we get a DLC announcement soon. BB is fantastic but again, compared to the other Soul games, it lacks content. Lack of different builds is disappointing too. I leveled my first char up to 289 out of pure boredom.
Despite all that I still love that fucking game.
