By Moris Go To Post On NG++ gonna get that platinum y'alllll
I got mine by playing three different builds, it made it more fun!
I imagine you can have all builds simultaneously by the time you hit ++ anyway lol
By LabouredSubterfuge Go To Post What's the max limit for each stat?
99 but they hard/soft cap way earlier.
So the only way to advance is to beat Cleric Beast and Father G?
Also, maybe it's my imagination but the Saw Blade seems to be a mich quicker executing weapon over the Hunter's Axe, thus making it somewhat more useful in executing more damage quicker or do I have that wrong?
By Diprosalic Go To Post did you spend it?
I don't even know how.
there's an insight shop in hunters dream. it's outside the doors from the building on the cliff.
maybe you bought something there or an enemy stole it but i thought they only appear later on.
whatever, you don't need it anyway.
the shop opens once you have 10 insight.
not sure if it disappears, probably not.
you got robbed then.
Almost took him on the second try. Molotov cocktails seem to help eventhough it feels cheap but I don't care. He's quick and gotta find that split second to retreat and regather.

you gotta parry him in his 2nd phase at least once or twice, there's no way around that unless you do insane amounts of damage or you're way too good at dodging his attacks

An oil urn + a molotov or 2 will win you that fight easy. Also the music box will allow you a max of 4 unretaliated power strikes on him.
Are the only directions from Central Yarnham Father Gascoigne and the Cleric Beast?
Don't think I like the return to consumable healing items. Use them all in a boss fight, then die and you have no vials, and no souls to buy new ones. Unless something changes or I've missed something.
Also think they should signpost boss battles better, wandering into one when you have enough souls to level up is just annoying. Ideally you want to enter boss battles with 0 souls, and as many recovery items as possible.

Where do I get the music box?

they drop way too often though, you can refill them in a 10-15 mins!
and yes, you gotta beat Gazza at least, for now these are your only options.
pls tell me you read my wall of text the other day you consumable cunt

NPC at the top of a ladder which goes between the aquaduct and the area with the big guy banging the door. Ladder can only be accessed from the aquaduct.
Are there any enemies particularly likely to drop vials? Aside from the big bastards :P

the wolves drop 3 each, the big fat bastards 2 each (the ones next to the lift that leads to Gazza), and the rest of the mobs drop 1 quite often.
Sometimes the really big guy with the axe drops 4. I run that route, with the shotcuts, it's about 2 minutes for 16-20 vials.
Later in the game, I picked up the habit of spending any remaining echoes on them in the store, before 'heading out'. Better to spend them than lose them.
I think I'm doing alright at this game until I go on GAF and read some stuff that I didnt even know exsisted lmfao.
First thing, apparantly you can jump in this game? lol what and how?
Ok so these items, is the purpose of the one where I return to the hunters dream without loosing any my echo's just so I dont have run all the way back to the teleportation thing?
I think before I fight FG I should try level up my weopons and character and maybe even armour.
In all fairness, I do very well until he transforms, almost beat him but the in the rush of blood I forgot to stay on the move and I find once your down on the floor its game over.
which I've been advised to use molotovs ( I have been using pebbles)
Kidjr, parry is king in that fight. You can down him with 3 parrys once he transforms I think?
Pebbles are only good to 'pull' mobs to you and to knock players off ledges in PVP lol

Ok so this tends to be my tactics, I usually run the fuck away for about two mins before he start to do that roll move where he swivles like ballernia with his weopon, he seems to take a while to recover, I then roll in with Edmus (thats what I've called my hunter) deal some damage until my stamina meter or watever it's called is done. Then I try hit him with the bunderbuss however in between me finishing my attacking him with my saw and shooting waiting for my gage to recover I get dealt way to much damage.
It's even worse when he transforms, so I just run away but even then I dont know whether to stay locked on (cus I cant escape fast enough) or unlock and try to hope I dont run into some wall that I was never going to be able to see.
I shoulda invested more points into HP.
Reading people having trouble beating bosses in Cursed chalice that I already dealt with and had +20 more points in HP than I did at the time.
I nearly fucked up, Yurt slapped me and told me to go back.
Now I wish I played this game in English, since I can't use your hints because I can't recognize the places :(
Finding this much tougher than the beginning of any of the Souls games. Feels like its much easier to get stunlocked and killed than it used to be.
Quickest way to Papa Gazza is to just run down the stairs from the lamp, bypass the fatties, down the lift, and sprint past the group on the bridge, right?
Only faced him twice, got him to his transformed stage just now and got battered by an almost vertical jumping attack which he used to negate the tree that I was using as a barrier between us :(
By Freewheelin Go To Post So where can I get the Charred Hunter's armour?
It's in old yharnam, go down that ladder that leads to where you fought the hunter. With your back to the ladder go right til you get to a broken part of the railing, jump down there, lots of enemies then up the stairs.

Cheers, I still need to beat that guy, lol. Also, is there an outfit that helps me against the Hunter who fires the machine gun?

if you beat Paarl, and then go through that big door behind him to Djura (dude with the machine gun name), he won't attack you
or you know, just climb the ladder and kick him off the edge :p

I managed to beat him by doing exactly that :p Havent found Paarl yet tho.

you find him in Hypogean Gaol, down the stairs and straight, through one of the holes in the wall.
don't bother going outside there''s nothing but items.
wear Henryk's set if you have it ;)
any update on the cannibal? Don't leave him unattended :p
Got Logarius down to 1/3 health before he killed me. Pls.
Is there only one shortcut here? The one at the start?

Yeah I have that set, dont worry :p
And yeah, I went back to the Chapel and found that cannibal sitting outside, decided to hit him a few times then he turned into a big electrical monster :lol, so I managed to bait him into the doorway of the chapel and hit him a few times with my +4 Rifle Spear, lol. But then I forgot one of those bag cunts was there too so it killed me and took me to that scary prison :(
Fortunately I managed to light the lamp in there and get back to the chapel and kill that massive cunt. That bag cunt got killed too :lol :p
felt good man, also I showed Nathan that part :p

The elevator and the ladder, that's it.
Should I keep upgrading my blunderbuss or is something better on the horizon?
Also what do you get for upgrading guns? Just more damage?

I still use the blunderbuss on lvl 72, but I don't parry as much as many others

Do you bother upgrading? It just seems they do so little damage anyway then what's the point if upgrades increase the damage a bit.
