I'm DYING
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Post I killed everybody before I could send them anywhere. If you breathing, you be dying.
you've inspired me into starting a new STR character with a giant ass hammer on his back
By Lego Go To Post Can I platinum the game if I killed Isofeka before her transformation? Can you even do it in one play through anyway?
I didn't even fight her, when I met her she was half dead on a table. I don't think you need to kill her as much as you need three cords

your Chalice hate is KILLING me, and you know, it's completely justified.
which boss pushed you to the edge?
By Yurt Go To PostDid you get (and EAT) the three umbilical cords?
LOOK AT ME MORIS
I looked into that last night and no =(, so I'm putting off the final boss til I clear these chalice dungeons then I'm going to go for the good ending, so on NG+ I'm gonna make sure to get 3 of the cords and get the true ending.

There's no way to platinum on 1 playthrough. Because there's a good/bad and true ending, you can get the bad/true ending on one playthrough, so it looks like you need to beat the game twice at least.

i'm not mad or anything, just laughing about it. The cunt at the end of the Loran Chalice. He literally did his wind push attack whilst i was standing behind him, took 3/4 of my hp. It was i was fighting it using shit console online play.
The chalices are just fucking boring. Should have spent that time, those enemies, those bosses in the actual main game rather than some throwaway bullshit lego B-Team dungeon crap.
Been getting a better grip on things. Up to 42, just before that Vicar Amelia fight, had to take it fairly slowly because I've had interviews and what not recently.
Only enemies I struggle with now are the dicks with the bags.
So apparently this dude can shoot lasers through his own body. Fuck this.

By Lego Go To Post I hate this boss so much. The game has broken me.
Which boss?
I'm not even sure I went for the right characters, 4/5 hours in and havent even made it the Cleric beast.
You know when you first go into Yarnham and there is that huge blobbering oger like beast (you have to break a few crates to get to him). I tried a few times but havent faired very well.
Got to the werewolves once then died, do you guys you have any tips? I think I'm forgetting to use my blunderbuss too much and so running out of thingy to dash away.
Probably don't fight that big guy yet, not worth it at all.
Use your blunderbuss on some enemies right as they attack you, they'll be stunned and you can press R1 for a heavy damage visceral attack.
Explore some more, maybe you can avoid those werewolves, who knows! Maybe you'll find some helpful items, too.

you can kill the ogres without the blunderbuss but it'll be very annoying and you'll likely take damage, the key is to counter them with your gun, they'll either die immediately or with just two hits after that
It's possible to kill them by chain-knocking them out with the Axe's R2, but yeah, not worth it for now. They do drop x3 potions per werewolf though!
By Kidjr Go To Post Thanks guys! funny story, first hour or two I spent fighting everyone with my hands because I didnt know I had to equipt weopons in the hunters dream lol #casualgamer
if you have me on PSN you can send me a message anytime you want! We also have a Bloodborne Support Group of some sort :p
Kidjr, it might seem basic, but remember that it is always easier to fight one enemy than two. It really is one of the basics of the game, and something that I think a lot of people don't understand and forget. You don't get any style points for wiping out a whole mob with one swing. Keep your distance and try to lure one werewolf to you and fight him solo. Then take on the other. To lure one, just stand near the opposite side of the stairs you come up from after fighting the three dogs and the 3 or 4 men, and shoot one of the werewolves.

Whats your ID?
And thanks Shanks!
I think I'm inheritantly treating this game like DM3 which it clearly isnt. I'm still waiting for my click moment but I'm sure it'll come.
By Yurt Go To Postvery true!
but sometimes I can't control myself, you've seen me in the Chalice lool, I love to take out as many as possible in one fight.
Hahaha same, I die instantly every new area i go to. I am always "come on ye fucks" with my giant hammer, and then get gangbanged, dodge back into a wall and get killed lol.
I was very cautious when we played because i didn't want to be the reason for us having to go through the bell drama again.
By nate Go To Post Fucking hell that bit where you get to the courtyard and about a million of them start fighting you up the stairs jesus christ
If you have a torch, it's pretty useful against the little goblin things, they're scared of fire so you can keep them at bay with that.
Killed Vicar Amelia on my first try last night.
Ran out of vials and had about 1/3 health left when I finished her off.
Literally fist-pumped in my living room. Felt good man.
i'm done. did all the bosses. my first souls type of game, was muuuch easier than i thought. got all of them pretty quickly only the 3rd one gave me some trouble. looking forward to try the more harder ones.

what ending did you get?
Pls.
I'm in Byrgenwerth now, fought against the Hunter and she threw me right into the lake, followed me and died.Great :>
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Postwhat ending did you get?
the best one i think. m8 told me what to do. i don't care for playing games twice so i didn't mind.

pls tell me you killed ALL the optional bosses? ;_; that's about 15 hours of extra content
By Diprosalic Go To Post what do you need echo grinding for? i never grinded for anything.
I do it to level up my weapons and character.
By Diprosalic Go To Post what do you need echo grinding for? i never grinded for anything.
Leveling weapons and stats. As a strength build, I can't attack every opening a boss presents, so when it lands it has to really count.
Have 50 strength and now that I figured out the arcane weapon enchantment I got arcane to 20

yup, did all of them.

i have a strength build too, i guess i just did everything so i never needed to farm. i think i'll finished with 25-ish in strength and 30 in vitality and endurance. never touched skill or the other two.
Only 25? Are you some kind of God?
I have 30 vit, 30 end, 40 skill and I'm not done yet.
Few points in strength and bloodtinge so I could use a certain weapon, too.
By Diprosalic Go To Postyup, did all of them.
including the true ending ie fighting the wheelchair guy at the end and then the real Final boss. As well as Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen in the Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice?
I was so fed up with video games, barely played them, but kept buying them.
Bloodborne has cured me, it's made me realise why I used to love this hobby, once upon a time.
By Diprosalic Go To Post i got the moon presence thingy. i hit all the ones in the main quest. i have no clue what their names are but i checked them on the wiki.
Sounds like you hit everything you could possibly hit on a single playthrough, which is 99% of the game.

Demon's Souls kickstarted my gaming heart back then
but then it stopped beating after I finished it
until Dark Souls
etc
@Diprosalic: Yes, please don't miss out on Demon's and DS they're both equally as fucking AWESOME! (same for you Lego)
Demon's is utterly brutal though but it's so worth it.
