90s were fairly close for 50+ win teams with the west having slightly more on average.. 00s were ugly for the east the west was doubling and sometimes tripling 50+ win teams..

I think it's tough on both sides. But sometimes the media questions are targeted and stupid "How shit is LMA, are you going to play him tomorrow?"... yeah you go in on that guy.
I do dislike them going in on a "professional" question that just needs a token response though. Just unrpofessional, and everyone in the room will take that quote.
But I also recognize that it would be very difficult to care about people who have written hit pieces on you before.

To an extent I sympathize. For instance I think it is a bit ridiculous the league forces the losers to come out and speak after losses moments after. It is very tabloid esque and never really provides any value except a meme or two a few times a season.
At the same time, this is your job and 90% of the time the other side acts professional. Even in wins you have these guys acting the same way. Ask them a detailed question and they will take the angle of not wanting to divulge strategy, being a dick to justify that.....Go the other direction and give them a broad question to allow a general platform so they can control the message and you get slapped for asking a "dumb" question.
I also say this with Cousins on my team, who I think did one of the most shameful acts toward the media I have seen.
