By giririsss Go To PostI don't mind the Thunder as a brand. But the colour scheme is horrendous in general.
The blue they use is fine, but just about everything else is complete mediocrity.
Odd you think the other colors are bad since they're complimentary colors to blue. Orange specifically.
Eh, the tough thing about complimentary colors is knowing how to use them. The Thunder brand clearly doesn't know how.
Ehh ... it's subjective. I don't dislike their logo / branding. They even have a lighter orange to match thee lighter blue. I just found the complain odd. Usually people are subconsciously attracted to these combos.

But it's not just the orange. they pair with white. And the orange they use is odd for the dominant blue. Because they regularly run a super dark navy stripe, so have this burnt orange stripe next to that.
It's just honestly not good.
It's still better than the Rockets McDonalds uniforms. But ... that's not exactly a high bar to set.
I think their best is their dark navy with white detailing. And it's not that close.
Lakers purple and gold is where its at for complimentary colors anyway :P
Reilo still hasn't taken my advice for a purple and gold SLAENT color scheme

No, the current colour scheme is good.
Very good article on the Westbrook vs. Harden team basketball and other NBA playoff stuff
These 2 plays show why you can’t judge Russell Westbrook without proper context

By The Frankman Go To PostVery good article on the Westbrook vs. Harden team basketball and other NBA playoff stuffThat article is throwing Russ' teammates under the bus... While I think the roster is weak that should never excuse you from hitting wide open shooters like McBuckets... when you shoot two airballs on forced shots you are fucking up
Dy why are you posting stuff like this on RealGM?

For better or worse, you use the regular season to develop guys you can trust for playoff basketball. I can understand the "can't play Kanter" stuff a bit, but Taj Gibson was a fantastic role guy for the Bulls and should be getting 30+ minutes and work in PnP shit. McDermott should be much more integrated in the O (Kyle Single still plays WTF?). Whose fault is it that it's still Russ and the Scrubtones out there? Sure Donovan has to get blame but Russ does not trust most of his starting lineup.
I'm not even mentioning Oladipo because he's so redundant to Russ he can't do anything. He either has to become a bench player or he needs to leave OKC.
By Adam Blade Go To PostJimmy vs. Paul, who would you start a franchise with now if you had to choose?Jimmy
By reilo Go To PostOladipo and Adams had next though.I won't lie, Adams was beasting when Russ makes an effort to distribute after driving in the paint.
By reilo Go To PostOladipo and Adams had next though.I was never sold on Adams to be able to step into more of a role than he had
By blackace Go To PostI was never sold on Adams to be able to step into more of a role than he hadI'm with you but the entire dialog this off-season and last was that Adams was ready to make the leap, which is why they felt good about trading Harden (it turned into Steven Adams, after all!) and getting rid of Ibaka (we got Adams, we can fill Ibaka's role no worries!).
But the truth is that he was always super limited offensively and didn't have the skillset on offense to make the kind of leap to be an elite big man in today's league when Marc Gasols, Jokices and Towns are capable of making huge impacts on both ends of the floor.
Adams is arguably a better scorer than Gasol was at this time in his career, and especially at this age. Adam's offense is also probably better than Towns' defense.
By reilo Go To PostAdams has scored 20 or more points… seven (7!) times in his career. And they were all this season
By diehard Go To PostAdams is arguably a better scorer than Gasol was at this time in his career, and especially at this age. Adam's offense is also probably better than Towns' defense.I don't agree at all. Marc Gasol came into this league with several readymade skills that Adams truly lacks: mid-range jumpshot, passing ability and elite FT shooting. Adams is more efficient but that's because the Thunder don't ever put him outside his comfort zone -- practically anywhere outside of 5ft from the basket.
Like, does anyone ever envision Adams being put in a pick-and-pop situation, ever?
Gasol shot 45% from 16-3pt on 69 attempts his rookie year. Adams has attempted 5 shots outside of 16ft this season total (0-5). What are you on about?

lol. I hastily posted the wrong stat and edited. But sorry bruh, Adams is far behind where Gasol was coming into the league -- but Gasol was also the same age Adams is now.
by age at 24 Marc was a double digit scorer and Adams was that at 23 but Marc was a rookie when he was 24..
By reilo Go To PostI can make you a dookie brown just for you and lock your account with it
Too much effort just to troll little ol me.
Let's be real. Cavs can still win this if Lord LeBron wants to. I can see him telling Lue if Kyrie and Love don't pick it up he's taking the night off.
I mean they can still win but let's pretend LeBron can just decide to win at this point..
Pacers feel they can win, they have been close twice.. So it will be interesting to see if they can keep kicking them while they are down.

Wtf is going on with the pacer game. I'm in traffic and saw the score
By blackace Go To PostI mean they can still win but let's pretend LeBron can just decide to win at this point..Every time the Cavs turned it on defensively, Indy folded. Even Game 1 I never felt Indy could win because of trash possessions and never getting stops down the stretch.

It kills me because Indy has much better effort guys and rebounders now in Young and Turner who can shoot and should be PnR/PnP-ing the Cavs alot more on O, yet they always have these scoring droughts.
By blackace Go To PostThon is going to be a beast in 2 years
He's legit and I've never been happier to be wrong. Kid that size with his skills is going to be incredible with Giannis
They have won two games by a total of like 7 points at home.. They were the ones up big in game 2 and let Indy back in it.. I doubt Indy can ever play well enough to win the series but they are poking soft spots..

I liked him during the draft.. Thought the Bucks reached a bit but kind of looking like they got the steal of that draft
