Seriously, I can't believe I'm about to say this, good for the Celtics and the NBA. Fucking have some pride out there. Jesus, all you have to do is try, unlike LeBron.
That also probably guaranteed Gordon Hayward to Boston.
Now they can prove that they have some semblance of pride and heart.

Lebron is gonna be pissed in game 4.
It's the year of the moving screen at the 3 point line. All game long, all season long, teams have been able to just run defenders off their man.

Decided to watch Iron Fist instead of this game.
Before starting Episode 3, gonna watch ESPN or something to see why Cleveland decided to take the night off.

By shun Go To PostThat probably guaranteed Avery Bradley gets more money than he deserves.
Avery Bradley is like the best 3-D player in the NBA so he was probably always getting $25m a year.

By "good for the NBA," you mean $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from more games, right?

lmao.

Klay Thompson disagrees with you.
Avery Bradley isn't getting better offensively, he hit is ceiling. You know what you get.
You rather get another player in the same mold who is capable defensively and bigger. Likely cheaper too.

By Phoenix RISING Go To PostDecided to watch Iron Fist instead of this game.
Wrong call. There has never been an NBA game in the league's history that was worse than Iron Fist. I'm pretty easy when it comes to superheroes, but that series was so terrible by the end.
By The Frankman Go To PostFultz
Bradley
Hayward
PF
Horford
Trade IT2 for picks. They'd be in a much better financial situation.
Horford's career is nearly over and Fultz won't be a good basketball player for three years, how is this a good situation.
All rookies are terrible at basketball, some just produce stats while being terrible.
By The Frankman Go To PostFultzI'm not giving IT or Avery the contracts their agents will be demanding.

By Phoenix RISING Go To PostBy "good for the NBA," you mean $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from more games, right? It's a back handed compliment. The NBA #1 seed in the east actually played like they were worthwhile of being in the playoffs.
By shun Go To PostAvery Bradley isn't getting better offensively, he hit is ceiling. You know what you get.IT is such a defensive liability it makes more sense. Bradley is one of the best at what he does, but they wouldn't need IT to score 30 a game if there was better defense from their point guard.

That's a fair assessment.
By RATHasReturned Go To PostReminder, never bet on sports
Over/under GSW sees this game and say to themselves, "NOPE"?
Fultz couldn't lead Washington to a winning record, he's going to be one of the worst PGs in the league next year. He'll be great eventually, but rookies are bad, guys.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostHorford's career is nearly over and Fultz won't be a good basketball player for three years, how is this a good situation.... Fultz isn't Dante Exum here, dude is going to be an NBA player Year One. WTF with this rookies are bad narrative?
All rookies are terrible at basketball, some just produce stats while being terrible.
Things always improve when you get legit teammates, you remember John Wall his first few years?
he's right most rookies...especially PGs are generally shit for a little while even if they put up $tat$. Its at the end of the year that the truly great ones put it together.
There are six players in NBA history who were good at 19 years old.
http://bkref.com/tiny/LLddO
Dwight, Kobe, Bosh, Melo, Anthony Davis, LeBron.
7th on this list as sorted by win shares is Andre Drummond who was not at all good as a rookie because he was mindbendingly bad at defense.

Horford has the fugliest release on his shot that I have ever seen.
I might not even be exaggerating.

This was at the end of his career when Brewer's confidence had been shattered, but there's few clips of Ronnie Brewer in the past and this does a decent job of approximating how Brewer's jumpshot looked like.
Brewer was the original Roberson and he tanked our chances against the Lakers year after year. Kobe would leave him in the corner to play free safety and Brewer would shoot 30% on 17 foot jumpshots.
Brewer was an actually great player before teams scouted him though. Like 10 wins shares in his second year. Great player at everything other than his abomination of a jumper.

By diehard Go To Postrookies almost never help teams win, this isn't something new.
Exactly, Its a reason why I'm not completely sold on Boston's one foot in contention, one foot in a rebuild roster philosophy.
Being in the CF and getting great picks is great but those young guys take roster and cap space that hold your team back. Been waiting on Ainge to flip his assets for roster upgrades but he just keeps drafting players.
I said NBA player, I'm not saying he's going to be an All Star. Let's say Fultz won't be a contributing factor for 2-3 years... Better that than paying IT2 200 million I say.
i loved Brewer :(
