Not with all these 3's.
So it's already been said, but I feel like with everyone shooting 3's all the time, games are either complete blow outs or slogs from cold nights from the 3 point line. That means close games are gonna be in short supply I think. Just elite teams blowing each other out. Not sure anything can be done about it or if I'm over reacting tho.

It would be hypocritical for me to complain, because the Association has simply copied the Spurs' formula of importing euro-style basketball.
I couldn't see it all these years, but I now have to agree that it is indeed boring...when EVERYONE is doing it.

That's true. That's one of the reasons I loved watching Memphis play when I could catch them back in the day. Just a different style with Marc, Zach, and Conley.
By diehard Go To Postthe playoffs were a mistake
1-16 single elimination tourney, best of 3 finals. I'm already bored
Klay Thompson's 60 points in 29 minutes is everything wrong with the modern NBA.
Are we even going to remember Reggie Miller and Ray Allen 30-40 years from now?

Reggie Miller will be remembered as one of the worst colour commentators of all time and Ray will be known as the star of that basketball movie with Denzel and the guy who saved LeBrons legacy

Ray won chips so yeah he will be remembered.. The guys who don't win stuff are often forgotten... People will always know Magic and Bird... MJ and so on..
reggie miller's career wasn't much to be remembered. His awfulness as a color commentator outweighs anything he ever did on the court.

I see what you did there.
Reggie Miller will be remembered as that guy who looked like Quark from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
People don't even remember Deep Space Nine..
he will be remembered as the HoFer was lost to his sister..

TBH I didn't even think of that, was just thinking of a way for everything to be over sooner
So GS and Cavs potentially play a team in the next round that went to 7 while they rested for weeks during the playoffs.

By Smokey Go To Postfuk manThat's the heart and soul of our team. Feel terrible he's going through this, especially when he should be with his family.
literally found out right before the game too
Our centre rotation is pretty thin (literally). Harrell has been cut out of the rotation. Pop has to have a counter to Anderson at the 5. We have no size at the position. All anybody would need to do is look at that last Detroit game to see how terrible that was for us.
By Smokey Go To PostNene out, it's over
GG
By s y Go To PostIf Nene in 2017 is the deciding player……..
Our most physical post player. He's gone. The Spurs have a clear advantage in the post as it is.
Why's that hard to understand outside of herp Nene derp

We have no size. Can't possibly play Nanu any meaningful minutes.
The Dubs would run Nene out of the gym regardless but tough defending SA size without him.

By RobNBanks Go To Postyou still got harden who can get 30 FTA a game so it's not over
We've shot like 40 FTs total the last 3 games combined.
A fortnight ago Nene was being used as closing evidence for Harden's superior supporting cast. Now people are making fun of the roster's lack of centre depth. Having your cake and eating it, too brehs.
By diehard Go To PostRockets need a Dwight Howard type.
Dwight the athlete would be a great fit, Dwight the person was not.

What could have been if he would have played his role.
But I can't be too mad because dude showed up in the playoffs more than harden did tbh
I mean, I get it. But the fact remains that the "chip" for every team besides the Warriors and Cavs is a conference finals appearance.
By thekad Go To PostWizards could beat the Cavs though
