Congrats to the Cavs, all I can say is we're in for a great finals if Lebron's this locked in and the Cavs are going to show up like this top to bottom. So there's that to look forward to.
Like I said. shame to go out in 4 but this was actually a really enjoyable season overall. I'll take this over getting eliminated in February in the name of a 'rebuild' any day.

By livefromkyoto Go To PostYou watch Laker games.
to be fair laker games are more like performance installations on the abject futility of disorganized morons
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI think they re-sign Lowry because they need to keep the asset and losing him gets you nothing…but I really hope they don't just sit on their hands there because you can't just pretend the injury is an outlier. I can understand losing this series, but 3 blowouts and a sweep makes a statement. They're not as close as they need to be.
Fortunately, Ujiri's been pretty proactive about making changes in his time here. DeRozan, Lowry, & JV (and to a lesser extent Patterson) have been the only constants. But I don't know what move there is out there to get better than Lebron.
I don't think it's panic stations by any means.
But I do think they need to say everything is on the table except derozan.
Obviously you're not trading the whole team, but lowry should be far from untouchable.
And maybe, at this point, a Lowry & Val for PG13 trade should happen for the sake of change. (complete mind dump, not saying it's likely or possible).

There have been rumours about JV getting moved for months now. He played well against the Cavs and maybe you want to keep him for that type of matchup, but absolutely, anything that gets you a star is a good move, and him getting traded is one of the more likely things to happen this offseason. I'd be just fine rolling with Ibaka at C.

JR + TT + Lebron had him in a triangle, Cavs' whole strategy was to get it out of his hands. He had one great game with 37, one lousy game, two enh. Overall he shot fine though, especially without Lowry.
The three pointer thing baffles me. Like I would love somebody to explain to me how a guy can be deadly from 18 feet but can't hit a 3. Every year he adds something, I keep waiting for him to come back with a 3-pointer but it never happens.
By s y Go To Postholy fuck there is a ton of green in that Washington crowd wtfThats nothing you should see when the Knicks are in town.

Can Utah afford him?
By blackace Go To PostJohn Wall is shitting the bed so farEhh... his shot wasn't falling, but he is playing ok.
By Kuma Go To PostWish I understood this teamlol
John Wall believes the Wiz can beat the Cavs To me, that's something I know Paul George and Lowry/DeRozoan don't believe. Wall just might be the 2nd best player in the East.
The biggest obstacle for them is maintaining composure and playing OK on the road.

You don't appreciate shit. You have one of the best coaches in this league thats carried trash as far as they could. Got goons and dudes who rather eat ice cream all day to ball. Scott Brooks aint outcoaching shit.
Free Brad Stevens. Give him talent and be a perennial ECF/Finals team.

Like Kawhi + Pop got a team that's literally Knicks West this far. LMA is Melo West and the rest of the team except Patty Mills is full of dudes you rather have like 4-5 years ago. You aint blaming either those two if they lose.
Y'all joke about Knicks being GOAT team of 2011, thats pretty much the Spurs roster right now.
